In general, I don’t follow much non-tech news.
And for the past few weeks, I was travelling - living the kind of days that feel far away from reality.
We landed back on the night of the 31st.
The next day moved gently - unpacking, resting, catching up on sleep.
And then, in the quiet of the evening…
That’s when my parents finally told me how bad things have been in Punjab.
Shops shuttered.
Streets waterlogged.
Electricity flickering on and off.
Crops drowned.
Phone signals barely working.
People displaced.
Fear growing with every dark cloud.
And still, they kept it all in.
They were going through so much.
But they waited.
Not because they didn’t need help…
But because they didn’t want to disturb our joy.
And ever since that moment, it hasn’t left me.
Their strength. Their silence.
The kind of love that protects even when it’s breaking.
While the world keeps scrolling, Punjab is still standing in water.
Don’t let it be forgotten.

Tariffs are taxes paid by American importers, not foreign govts, meaning the money “flowing in” is actually coming from US businesses and consumers, not China, India or anyone else.
It’s like robbing your own citizens and calling it foreign income. For someone who claims to be a business genius, not understanding this basic economic principle either points to a dangerously low IQ or deliberate deception, and neither is reassuring.
