The Big Five? Uganda has the Big Seven.
Our CEO @JulzKagwa puts it plainly, Uganda sits at the heart of Africa, where ecosystems, cultures, and biodiversities meet in a way that exists nowhere else on the continent.
Come now. Get in on the ground floor.

Years of work behind this video. A club in Sweden where Kadodi plays in the stands and Luganda flies from the touchline.
Update: @imbankug has refunded the disputed transaction. Thank you @BOU_Official for the attention. Closing this thread.

A cardholder reported fraud. The bank accepted that several online charges needed reversal. Then it refused to refund UGX 4,019,049 using evidence that points to a LinkedIn profile under another name.

False choice. Card numbers are stolen at scale with zero cardholder involvement: merchant database breaches, payment processor compromises, BIN attacks where fraudsters generate and test valid card numbers by brute force. Billions of card records circulate from breaches the cardholder never touched. This is why chargeback rights exist. Scheme rules do not require the cardholder to prove how the number leaked, because that is usually unknowable. They require the issuer to act on evidence of unauthorized use. @imbankug was provided with that evidence. The card never left the account holders possession, and the subscription went to an account in another person's name. That is the record in front of @BOU_Official.
3D Secure doesn't protect banks from liability,it shifts it TO them.
Banks price in fraud losses. It's their job to prevent it.
If they failed, they pay. That's accountability, not "playing victim."

This is the danger.
A criminal can use stolen card details. The criminal can consume the service. The merchant can show the service was used. Then the bank can call that usage “proof” the victim approved payment.
Under that standard, the victim carries the loss. @ntvuganda @DailyMonitor @SpireJim mutuyambe..
