We have strayed too far away from the core value props that carried the industry up to this point. The mean reversion back to cypherpunk will be led by futarchy, AI, and the EVM.

I didn't say anything about who wrote it. I'm responding exactly where it's posted. where else should I respond to it?

the big question is who soaks up the roughly 440,000 new SOL the network adds every week (~3.6% annual issuance) or the roughly 630,000 new NEAR (~2.5%) for context, 20,000 ETH/week is ~0.85% annually can we ask the same “big question” across the board?

Exactly why Ethereum has 100% uptime The devs ship absolute perfection not garbage.
JUST IN: Ethereum $ETH developers postpone the Glamsterdam upgrade on the Hoodi testnet, set for Oct. 26, with no new date Researchers flagged that EIP-8037's gas changes could permanently alter how existing smart contracts handle failed transactions.

New @Edge_Pod! A few years ago, Zcash looked almost dead. A lot changed: price is up 40x, zcash:native wallets work, and there's huge flows into ZEC. These Zcash builders say the price run is no fluke. "It's not like we did the year of Zcash and it's over now. It's just the start."

me on same side as solana, who'd have thought lol?
The SEC's tokenization exemption has a big open question: what counts as a "public, permissionless" blockchain? 🤔 The first 3 tokenized stock venues:
TSV LLC on @CantonNetwork
OKXICE on its own @Ethereum L2
Kephas Corp. on its own @Ethereum L2 Who wants what: @SolanaInstitute , @malekanoms and @lex_node want it tighter @hedera wants it wider @SIFMA wants clarity @BetterMarkets wants it scrapped Meanwhile, 22 of 62 companies have objected to having their shares tokenized on OKXICE. The rules for onchain stocks are being written right now & this graphic is a busy one!! Via @CryptoAmerica_ @EleanorTerrett.

Heard of a top law firm completely cutting off Harvey and all API calls to Claude/OpenAI after they saw what openAI did with navier strokes Now hosting everything locally with GPUs they own, running Kimi and deepseek Think you’ll see a lot more of this going forward

everytime there is moveVM hack it reminds of this guy! moveVM is the future bruh gmove, solidity sucks, EVM sucks bruh anyways good luck to initia team, hope you guys come back stronger 🫡
to the best of our knowledge so far, this is a Day 0 bug related to Initia's MoveVM on CosmosSDK that allowed the exploiter to mint additional tokens on the Initia L1 but does not apply to native INIT tokens. the attacker was able to mint and bridge out ~$2.7m worth of AUSD, ETH, and USDC before the chain was paused.

Ariel, you are in a chat full of cryptolawyers including a bunch of litigators all of whom will explain their standard advice is for "DAOs" not to respond to lawsuits & take the default yet you choose FUD, why?

For an asset to become a SoV it must endure devastating crashes where all hope seems lost, only for a group of holders to traumabond, reaffirm the mission, and emerge as hardened believers. This cycle must repeat multiple times. Keep that in mind when evaluating potential SoVs.

Great explainer on why Kohaku is the catalyst that finally makes privacy a default on Ethereum. @ambire is set to be the early lighthouse as private Ethereum comes to a wallet near you.

Mad props & respect to @kassandraETH @ncsgy @ambire and everyone else who's played a role on Kohaku development over the past year. It's got to be be exciting for all of them to see their hard work finally coming to light.

Most EF employees never even use Ethereum. We’ve known this for a long time tbh The EF completely set $ETH back and ETHBTC would be at a much more respectable level if it wasn’t for their constant missteps Glad to see someone at the EF has the balls to call it out Bullish
look the foundational problem with ethereum protocol design is that most of the people designing the protocol don't actually use ethereum themselves. you can't fix the right things if you don't use your own fucking product. you don't have enough skin in the game if you don't personally depend on the system you're designing & stand to lose money when it breaks. i understand, everything looks great from an ivory tower lol. things look very different when you're actually on the ground dealing with the consequences. if you don't use ethereum yourself but still think you're qualified to design its protocol, you're playing god with a system you don't have to live with and whose consequences you don't have to suffer.
