No foul on Isak, but a foul on Havertz.
Same situation. One player makes something of it. The other doesn’t.
Ain’t seen Arsenal fans complain about the referee agenda against them in a while.
Maybe, just maybe, every team gets some good and some bad luck from time to time 🤷♂️

Klopp inherited the weakest squad of the three and built Liverpool into title contenders from scratch.
Slot inherited a ready-made squad and won the title without removing Klopp's DNA. Then he brought in his own philosophy and his own players, and the club backed his vision like no one before. It failed badly.
Iraola's situation is bizarre. He's inherited the expensive signings who didn't fire under Slot, and players like Gravenberch and Szoboszlai on big new contracts who still haven't found their feet in his system. There are gaping holes in the squad on top of that.
Worse, he's expected to fix it almost immediately, because he has "expensive players" and a better squad than Klopp ever started with.
Under Slot, these players were outrun week in, week out. Iraola's whole game is built on outrunning the opposition. He's being asked to wave a magic wand, shake them out of last season's slumber, and turn us into world-beaters overnight

Klopp about Wirtz
"I've been in regular contact since our first camp. We practically didn't know each other before, as he was still a child when I left the Bundesliga."
"The player arrived at the national team, and of course I knew he was really good, outstanding. But when I saw him live, I thought: 'Good heavens, he's THAT good!'
"I'm really looking forward to it. There's so much footballing quality, such a great mentality and so much control. this centre of the pitch will be the engine room of our game."

He only looked good in the 10 cause the creativity responsibilities were on Salah and Trent. He kept it basic and pressed like a maniac, that’s why he looked good in there, cause of Salah and Trent not cause of his sole no.10 abilities.

Wirtz could go 10 games without a G/A and he’d still make this team play good football. We will say the truth about him one day

Every time Nyoni goes off the pitch, we lose all midfield control in the pivot. Every time Wirtz isn’t playing as the 10, we look toothless in attack without a connector and receiver in half spaces. Interesting dilemmas for Iraola’s 4-2-3-1, both are undroppable in this system.

The way he keeps dropping deep and standing on Nyoni's toes. He just doesn't like recieving under pressure so drops for easy possession.
The level of fitness the players had at the start of the season was because of his Training Ideologies. No intensity in the games. He’s a good manager but the damage was done.. he had to be sacked
FINALLY
Bradley Barcola: "First of all, I wasn't the one who decided the transfer fee."
"So that's not been my problem. And regarding Mo Salah, he's a legend here. A huge one. He's done big things here and for that I have an enormous respect for him. But it's not pressure for me at all.
"I'm not Mohamed Salah, so I'm going to try to contribute whatever I can to the club and make my own mark on its history. I don't feel any pressure about that." (Sky Sports)

As he should. Horrible foul yes, red card yes, and yes a suspension is well in bounds
But there was absolutely no ill intent there. He’s looking at the ball, making a play on the ball.

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: FC Andorra goalkeeper Jesús Owono is expected to avoid criminal charges following the on-pitch collision that led to the tragic death of Tenerife striker Jesús de Miguel.
The goalkeeper was sent off after his knee struck De Miguel in the chest while attempting to clear the ball.
Owono has maintained that there was no intention to cause harm and is understood to be deeply affected by the incident.
Footage has also emerged showing the goalkeeper confronting supporters who were chanting “murderer” at him as he left the pitch.
According to Spanish media, Owono could instead face a sporting suspension of between 8 and 12 matches.
He has also closed his Instagram account following widespread abuse and intends to contact De Miguel’s family privately.

Are these people real?? Use your brain to understand WHY dougie said what he said. Fucking numbskulls and disgraceful humans going around acting like the goalkeeper wanted this to happen..
Replying to @DougieCritchley
So the keeper charges out full speed and knees him in the chest , he then walks off and gives a team mate a low five but you're saying he needs all the support. What about de Miguels team mates and family ? Jeezo lad.

Seen more tweets calling the goalkeeper a murderer rather than support for the family. This app is absolutely rotten.

Here is Jesús Owono’s reaction after his tackle on Jesús de Miguel:
- He was heading straight down the tunnel because he knew it was a red-card offence, which he was shown on the spot.
- His teammate even went over to greet him for the tackle, not realizing how serious the situation was.
- He rushed back immediately when he realized the severity of the situation.
It was a reckless tackle, and the consequences are heartbreaking. But we must remember that none of these players goes onto the pitch intending to take the life of a fellow player.
