Earlier this year, @CNES signed two contracts with Loft Orbital to deploy new sovereign capabilities in space. Now, just six months later, Altair-1 has reached orbit to execute on both contracts, demonstrating Loft's ability to rapidly deliver. Altair simultaneously delivers the first milestone under MS-HR, France’s sovereign multi-sensor Earth observation constellation, and the first flight under CNES’s IOD/IOV program to develop new on-orbit capabilities as part of the France 2030 initiative. The Altair constellation is assembled and tested in Abu Dhabi by @orbitworksspace , the joint venture with Loft Orbital and @MarlanSpaceUAE, and integrated into Loft’s mission infrastructure.
