โStairway to Heavenโ is from Led Zeppelinโs 1971 album Led Zeppelin IV. This live performance was recorded at Earlโs Court Arena in London on 25 May 1975, during the bandโs Physical Graffiti tour. It was later included on the official Led Zeppelin DVD released in 2003.
The Earlโs Court shows were among the most celebrated of the bandโs career, with the extended version of โStairway to Heavenโ showcasing Jimmy Pageโs guitar work and the groupโs command of the song in a large arena setting. The footage remains one of the best-known official live recordings of the track.
