#无罪释放丁家喜 在 #国际政治犯日（Political Prisoners Day）这一天的傍晚，我在DC的林肯纪念堂前，参加了由美国民主基金会，托马斯兰托斯基金会，人权基金会，自由之家，世界自由大会等多个人权机构组织的，呼吁释放全球政治犯的集会。我和其他许多位政治犯的家属朋友以及前政治犯一道，做了一个一分钟的英语发言。以下是发言稿的中文翻译全文：
我今天站在这里，呼吁中国政府释放我的丈夫丁家喜。
释放这位充满爱心的父亲和丈夫，一位专业的律师，一位充满激情的人权倡导者，以及一位全心投入的团队领导者。
他的唯一“罪名”，就是倡导中国人民践行中国宪法赋予公民的权利，成为真正拥有权利、尊严和责任感的公民。
正因为坚持这一信念，他曾被强迫失踪长达六个月，遭受严重酷刑，并被剥夺律师会见权长达十三个月。
他目前正在中国服第二次刑，刑期长达十二年。迄今为止，他在中国被错误关押的时间已经长达十年零四个月！
我第一次见到他时，就爱上了他。他给我的生命带来了阳光。他是一个深爱家庭、也深爱自己国家的人。
我丈夫的名字“家喜” 直译是：家庭的幸福与喜悦。然而，自从他在2013年第一次被拘押以来，我们一家就再也没有享受过真正的家庭幸福。

His only crime is to advocate for the people of China to practice the rights written in the Chinese Constitution, to be a real citizen with rights, dignity, and sense of responsibilities.

At our EDP Congress in Athens, Jewher shared her father’s story. Denied family visits since 2017, his fate remains unknown to his loved ones.

Tonight, at the Lincoln Memorial, @Frances_Hui joined @NEDemocracy and the October 30 Coalition to mark the International Day of Political Prisoners, speaking about two Hong Kongers from different generations who are paying the same price for freedom.
Jimmy Lai fled Communist China at 12 and built a life in Hong Kong defending the freedom it gave him, founding Apple Daily to give Hong Kongers a voice. Now 78, he has spent nearly six years in prison, mostly in solitary confinement, and was sentenced to 20 years in February. Joshua Wong, who rose to prominence as a teenage activist, turned 30 this month, spending his sixth birthday in a row behind bars, and he now faces another sentence for his international advocacy.
They have not given up on Hong Kong, and we must not give up on them.

in the face of years of unjust detention, severe communication restrictions, and inhumane treatment, we hope more people will respond to, support, and join Luo Shengchun's call:
We collectively demand that the Chinese authorities immediately and unconditionally release Mr. Ding Jiaxi!
Advocating for civic engagement, peaceful expression of grievances, the rule of law, and freedom of speech are fundamental constitutional rights of citizens, not crimes. Nearly seven years of arbitrary detention, denial of outdoor exercise, and cutting off basic voice communication with his family constitute a cruel violation of basic human rights and humanitarian principles.
We urge the international community and democratic governments worldwide to maintain high attention and take concrete action to pressure the Chinese government to cease its persecution of human rights defenders, so that Mr. Ding Jiaxi can regain his freedom and reunite with his family at the earliest possible date!
