I listened but still a software-only fix; where is a simple override switch on the yoke? Or a more accessible circuit breaker?

$AUD spot still ~6/7 big-figures below its 20yr avg (so, fairly middle of the road). But fwd points haven’t been this negative since 2000 when spot was in the 0.50s. AUD still looks supported around 0.70. Any thoughts why?

hmm..I'd say most are already very long both beta & real estate so not sure they can take much comfort knowing they've got an extra 12mths. Note: New Home Sales moved higher into the 2000/2001 recession & was largely immaterial when fed went from 6.5% to 1.75%
Today ended the hopes of the 2019 Recession callers, new home sales didn't draw down enough to have any meaningful downturn in starts. So please, move along to year 2020 for your recession calls

First time I’ve ever retweeted @ewarren But she’s right—Big Tech has way too much power to silence Free Speech. They shouldn’t be censoring Warren, or anybody else. A serious threat to our democracy.

Someone is always guilty and Potus wants heads. Recent villains like Powell, Mueller, Dems, dollar, OPEC, China, EPA, Bezos, the NFL don't fit the narrative. This time we're going after intelligent people; they're always tinkering and screwing things up! No more innovation!
Airplanes are becoming far too complex to fly. Pilots are no longer needed, but rather computer scientists from MIT. I see it all the time in many products. Always seeking to go one unnecessary step further, when often old and simpler is far better. Split second decisions are....

All that risk-on since December. Tell me you can't see it in US 2s10s swap curve? I've circled it so you can see it....looks like the beginning of a real change in trajectory....

As I watch Kudlow repeatedly beat the "buy stocks b/c deal is coming" drum, I can't help but notice $AUD looks sick. Everything post Powell pivot & China stimulus should be equivalent to using a defibrillator to their currency. But with each shock, there is only temporary life...

Precisely my sentiment earlier this morning...what is the end game #EMFX
One side-effect of reflation trade is market starting to price in a return of Fed rate hikes, and EM FX is sliding

Alright, pains me to see this setup but stock market seems very interested in waking up the bond bears. If S&P is heading back to Sep highs, then seems bond yields will too. Get ready for some deja vu...#EM #Credit #mortgages

listened to Marko (JPM); clearly still bullish due to Fed pivot & US political backdrop set to drive China trade calm. Confidence seems to come from mkt positioning (still light). HFs’ mkt beta was 6th %-ile relative to the past 5Y as of 10days ago, today closer to 20th %-ile.
