A huge fanboy moment when I saw Ari Aster on the red carpet after the interview, I can't believe I actually said "Ari the man is here" but yeah... The excitment kinda got the better of me. Also I died a little bit inside when Ari said "good to see you again". #BeauIsAfraid
Sooo today was wild, interview with @AriAster for Beau Is Afraid in MTL... Full interview coming soon on @HorreurQc, but yeah, that was a great experience.
I finally caught up with THE MANDALORIAN & GROGU and it feels good to watch it after all the discourse. Even though it feels like 2 episodes of the show stitched together I had a blast with the creature designs, the action, Ludwig's fantastic score and Grogu's antics.
As long as it's not Amazon's decision but Denis Villeneuve's choice first and foremost, I'll take anyone. Seems like a great pick.

I remember watching this at 6 years old going “this is coolest and scariest ending to a TV show I’ve ever seen”
God, what a show.
I admire the Danny Boyle's bold choice to shoot 28 Years Later on an iPhone and I thought it was very innovative. That being said, there's something refreshing about Nia DaCosta using Arri Alexa for the sequel, it brings a different energy and identity to the film.
Well that was excellent. Extremely mean, intense and brutal but at the same time philosophical. I thought it was an improvement over the previous entry (which I also loved). Ralph Fiennes is dominating the screen, the score is fantastic, bring me more of these 28 Years movies.
Getting cozy and watching 28 YEARS LATER: THE BONE TEMPLE for the first time on a beautiful October day, yes please.

Seen a lot of Nathan For You clips shared around the last few days but haven't yet seen anyone repost the pinnacle of the televisual medium that is Nathan Fielder as Captain Sully landing in the Hudson River as Bring Me to Life by Evanescence plays
It's messy, but for all its issues it compensates with amazing visuals and a third act that goes unexpectedly metal.
Silent Hill (2006) is the definition of being trapped into a nightmare. I loved the detailed production design, the immersive score and the eerie atmosphere. There's a couple of things that annoyed me but it can be truly scary at times and that's exactly what I was looking for.
I don't do my annual Halloween marathons anymore, but today felt like a fall day with the rain, the wind, the colors and it made me want to watch a horror movie.
I picked: 2006's Silent Hill (never saw it before)
I hope he gets so attached to the material that he decides to turn it into a feature film and realizes NOBODY cares if he makes more than 10 films. Just keep doing movies man, you don't have to keep chasing your magnum opus. I said what I said.
