So apparently 213 cities that voted for Flávio Bolsonaro somehow voted for Lula in the second.
That’s … what the fuck. Yeah. Fuck Lula.
Free Brazil.

When it comes to Russia, ‘Trump could not escape the POWER of the military-security complex and was trapped by the DOMINANCE of neocons over US foreign policy.’
—Prof. Paul Craig Roberts, former US Treasury Official under Ronald Reagan
‘Trump overestimated the power of the Presidency. The United States military-security complex is extremely powerful. It needs an enemy.
And of course, Russia continued in the tradition of the Soviet Union, in the minds of the American people, and so it was the convenient enemy and the big one, the dangerous one.
And he simply wasn’t able to escape the power of the campaign contributions of an interest group such as the military-security complex.
I think also he was trapped by the neoconservative dominance of American foreign policy, which emphasises American world hegemony. And so getting rid of Russia fits that foreign policy. It did not fit Trump’s agenda.
And of course, there was no one he could appoint who represented his agenda. Because the neoconservatives have had since the George W. Bush period a very firm hold on American foreign policy and therefore the agenda of American foreign policy. So that’s what happened to Trump.’

After Trump's endorsement (some take an indication as backing Bibi away from far right groups), it feels the US is pressuring Israel to form whatever gov, but without Ben Gvir and Smotrich. It would be a positive turnaround for the country.
#Israel
In an interview with the 'Post', Ben-Gvir called on Netanyahu to sit with him in the next Knesset and warned that Israel cannot be "split down the middle."

Iran is without a doubt a grave threat to the State of Israel. Its pursuit of nuclear weapons and development of ballistic missiles capable of striking in the heart of our country cannot be allowed to continue.
But does that mean Israel needs to attack right now, less than a week before an election?
The answer is that none of us really know. Only a handful of people have access to the intelligence needed to determine whether the threat is immediate or whether an attack can wait. If Iran is building a nuclear bomb right now, Israel obviously needs to act, regardless of the election. But if the threat will be no different a week from now, the government needs to exercise extreme caution for two reasons.
The first is obvious: A military operation could disrupt the election and politicians have a responsibility to protect the democratic process and must be careful when taking action that could undermine it.
The second is more complicated and potentially just as damaging. Whatever Netanyahu decides, a significant percentage of Israelis will suspect that his motives are political. Even if an attack is entirely justified, many will believe it was designed to influence the election.
This is the reality of the deep crisis of trust in Israel today. If Netanyahu orders an attack, he will need to make a compelling case to the Israeli public, knowing that much of the country may not believe him regardless of the evidence.
And that is the danger. An operation meant to strengthen Israel’s security could end up eroding public trust in the government and the IDF.
Iran is a threat that Israel cannot ignore. But the timing of military action matters, especially when the country is just days away from an election.

Enough. What an abject embarrassment and I’m a Republican. Between Johnson and Thune’s incompetence , the entire party looks like monkeys slinging shit at each other.
Prolonging the process to next week, post Israel elections and before midterms.
Iran waiting for a fall in Bibi and Trump losing midterms so they can come out and say:
