What Does “Living in Humiliation” Mean to a Shia Muslim? — Continuous Submission and Degradation For the Shia Muslim, living in الذلة (humiliation) is defined as continuous submission and degradation. In their worldview and religion, this “humiliation” serves as a protective mechanism for the self against groups perceived as threats. In the United States, however, no such threat exists. Under the American Constitution and legal system, no individual or group is oppressed or under existential threat. They then promote their ideological and religious culture, claiming they are living in humiliation and subjugation under the American Constitution and laws. 🚨🚨They assert that they lack rights and demand special accommodations: parallel security systems, religious schools, private financial networks, and other exemptions — all while invoking the sacred slogan “We will not live in humiliation.” This narrative is weaponized as a religious and ideological imperative. It portrays any resistance to their demands as an attack on their divine faith. Under the cover of taqiyya (dissimulation) and a perpetual victimhood narrative, they frame their expansionist agenda as a righteous struggle. They position themselves as mujahideen (holy warriors) (Jihad) fighting in the path of God to “liberate their people from humiliation,” with the ultimate goal of subjecting America and its people to the authority of (Wilayat al-Faqih)— the Shia doctrine of clerical rule.
