We're told that schools need to get 14-15 year-olds ready to vote at 16. Has the government thought through the problem of teachers who are political activists canvassing pupils for votes? And what about the obvious contradiction in expecting pupils to independently research who to vote for and the government's social media bans for teens? At the end, I responded to the minister telling me not to worry as 16 year olds will be allowed to get info from TRUSTED sources. Trusted by who? If this is a big expansion of democracy, why is there no impact assessment or proper engagement with criticism?
I'd like the thank The USA for delaying my retirement for another 6 months at least with the shit show that the global markets have been since the Iran "thing" started and especially with the mid terms impact. Luckily I had moved some of my pension into cash/bonds based on watching some of the excellent personal finance channels on Youtube and the advice of a PFA.
Let this be a warning younglings. If you're not in a final salary pension, keep a close eye on the world situation, especially as you get closer to the actual date of retirement.
A lot of people close to retirement or having just done so will be looking at their SIPPs and pensions today thinking "where the fuck did all the money go"
The answer is "into the pockets of the people who never seem to need to worry about how they can afford to retire".
It is clear from the analytics that I need to post more. This isn't me engagement farming, this is me creating content.
Where are the bot accounts ? Like this and follow me. Who knows, maybe one day I will fall for a fake profile with a scantily clad female on it. It could be you !

Same voters. Two very different maps.
Split three ways, the right wins 218 seats. Labour wins 285.
If half of right-of-centre voters back the strongest candidate in their seat, the right wins 403.
Nobody changes their politics. They just stop splitting the vote.

The second chart is the wind output. The blue shaded area to the left is wind on the transmission system
The lighter shaded area to the left is wind that had to be curtailed off... It's absolutely massive and the reason we've already spent over £25 million balancing the grid today
About a third of current wind generation is being thrown away
This is what you get when you race to build windfarms behind grid constraints. This is our money being wasted by the Connect and Manage policy this government refuses to cancel

Labour, this party is now the government, is this ethical🧐
👇👇👇👇
Experian built Labour a database of over 1 million new mums.
The data came from Emma's Diary - a pregnancy advice site that sold names, addresses and kids' ages without telling mums it would go to a political party. 😳🤦
ICO fined them £140,000. Labour used it to target mums in marginal seats before the 2017 election.
A million women. One fine. Almost no press.
Ways to disappoint your partner deeply... #7.
Ask them if they want. Game of poo sticks. Watch their face light up at the thought of some simple old time fun down at the stream.
Then get out the bowel cancer screening kit and a tub.
Gloucester v Bath in the Gallagher Prem tonight is a bloody good match to watch as a neutral (in so much as I want them both to lose 😂).
Tight scoreline and tense contest. Bloody brilliant !
Thought I would get in quick and claim credit for the reduction in dinghy crossings this weekend before the government does. I looked out the window and saw the storm before the home office did, that makes it my win !!!

If you tell the electorate in say Makersfield you’ll not revisit Brexit (because they voted for it) then do exactly that… where does that leave you? Especially when you’re a PM the country did NOT vote for. I’m sick to death of political lies. From all sides. Anyone else?

Thousands of Conservative, Reform and Restore voters have signed up in a week.
One aim: stop handing seats to Labour and the Greens by splitting the vote.

See this: Greens 29.5%, but all right-wing parties:
Reform: 27%, Cons 16.9%, Restore: 10.8%. Cons couldn't win, Restore couldn't win, but Reform could with some Cons or Restore votes. So a seat that wld appear to want a right-wing Council, is now Green. Split vote, you fools!

The Conservatives never learn, and it’s clear that they never will. They were in power for fourteen years and they were no different from the gang of communists in power now. If they get another chance they’ll sell our country out again. If you’re stupid enough to vote for them you deserve what you get, but your children don’t.

No. It’s clearly going to hand it back to Labour.
We need to get Reform in and then we can worry about what happens later.
Otherwise it’s Labour until the 2030s and the country will be gone.

The Labour government is continuing to hand out more than £500m to foreign farmers as it continues to punish British family farms with its inheritance tax raid.

Labour: 86.4%
Green: 100%

🚨YET MORE TWO-TIER POLICING🚨
Labour vows to ban masks at protests to face down the "Far Right"
ZERO clampdowns during TWO YEARS of masked thugs at pro-Palestine protests
ZERO clampdowns at endless Far Left/Antifa/masked trans ninja protests
ZERO clampdowns as BLM thugs vandalised Churchill & set fire to flags at the Cenotaph
Yet the patriotic working classes? Straight to jail. Prison for tweets. Utter nonsense
TALK to the working classes. They're furious due to uncontrolled immigration, dinghies & rapes
The government engaged with "the community" after the Tottenham riots. That NEVER happened post-Southport, and they're doubling down on their idiocy
Burnham's government looks set to repeat the disastrous mistakes of Starmer's
Carry on like this, and we are surely heading for civil unrest
Without uniformity of law, we have two-tier law!

After an interminably long 8 or 9 weeks, finally everyone is back at work, school or college so I have the house completely to myself... In a moment of sheer exuberance and the wonderful tranquillity, I succumbed to the urge to strip naked and run through the house, just because I could. Was a wonderfully liberating experience.
Less so for the people I was on the teams call with at the time.

Two years ago I was one of a tiny select group of individuals who were given access to a preview of GPT-6 Astra.
I immediately set it a task to test its capabilities.
"Destroy Britain"
It responded by immediately arranging for the Labour Party to win the general election.
For me, it's game over. AI can do my job better than I can.
