Why the hell would I not want to live somewhere where I can easily get to everything I need without forking out a fortune for a car and wasting time maintaining it and driving it? I went out of my way to live in such a city, that was designed specifically around car use.

There are 50 million licenced drivers and 40 million licensed vehicles in the uk. So again, the number of injuries a day is very low compared to the number of journeys per day. More likely to get injured slipping over in work. Shall be ban people walking?
