We have raised $200M at a $5B valuation to scale self-improving software development in the enterprise.
@FactoryAI has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of developers at companies including RBC, Adobe, Nvidia, T-Mobile, and Palo Alto Networks.
We will use this capital to accelerate our investments in research, product, and global go-to-market.
Delegate to @droid while you

Annoyed and disappointed to see that the @FactoryAI office interior design is not second-tier but actually quite tasteful
Very excited to be deepening our partnership with @alighodsi and the entire @databricks team.
Customers can now apply their existing DBRX commitments to use Factory on via Databricks Marketplace and use Factory directly with the Databricks Platform.
Factory is partnering with @databricks to bring autonomous software engineering to enterprise data and AI.
Droids can build, migrate, and secure software directly on Databricks, using the data, models, and governance enterprises already trust.

Introducing Delegations, now generally available.
Your team can hand work to Droid from the tools they already use.

If Factory works for one of the most demanding enterprises in then world (scale, security, compliance, sophistication re impact) it will absolutely satisfy your organization’s requirements.
As the world’s largest alternative asset manager, @Blackstone requires the highest standards of deployment flexibility and governance.
Factory made it possible to operate agentic software development within Blackstone’s own data centers without compromising model choice or workflows.
One of our most important benchmarks for launches at Factory is DadBench.
Binary metric: does my dad text our family group chat about the launch?
One of the few benchmarks that cannot be benchmaxxed
Blackstone is going all-in on Factory as their platform for autonomous software development.
The world's most important enterprises are building software factories and accelerating.

to understand the placement of the panels in 3d space for the more complex multi-panel layouts, I created a custom 3d visualizer tool to map the billboard video panels onto 3d buildings in google maps. this was a game changer compared to trying to digest 2d spec sheets for each location and adapt each panel design.
I fed the billboard spec sheets containing the exact panel sizes, placement, locations etc into @FactoryAI and enabled Google Maps 3d tiles API, and the coding agents were able to place the artwork onto the buildings in the exact configuration and adapt each creative to spec.

Introducing OpenCompute: a self-hosted orchestrator for agent sandboxes on your choice of runtime.
Adopting autonomous software development should not require handing over your valuable code and context to someone else’s cloud.
Scale your fleet of remote agents while keeping them in your VPC.
Factory's @TaylorTheSavage argues that Claude Code and Codex aren't necessarily the best tools for their own AI models, and third-party harnesses can actually outperform them:
"One thing that I deeply believed before I started at Factory was that the harnesses created by the model companies are going to be the best for their models. Claude Code is going to be the best for Anthropic models, obviously, and Codex is going to be the best for OpenAI models, obviously."
"Starting at Factory, I realized that is just not true at all. You can actually do a lot better than those harnesses, certainly on specific types of workloads, but also even in the general case. Different incentives than you have if you’re building a third-party harness."
"Keeping them separate also allows you to not get too overfit towards one model. You need to be able to delegate between the different models, not just models from one particular company."
"Like Shelby Cobra, you’ve got tuners of cars that can take a car that’s built by Ford and make it work better than it rolled off the factory line. You get things coming out from one OEM, and then you’ve got other people that tune it aftermarket. I think that’s absolutely true with harnesses and models."

Today we are introducing Remote Control.
Your Droids run on a persistent self-managed remote machine, scoped to an individual user or service.

There is no moat. You are defenseless and also can win it at all at the same time. Act accordingly.
