Wow. This post is my most popular post. I seem to have hit a nerve. So, others are finding Trader Joes' to be crazy as well? I love their prices, their products, been shopping there for decades. But you refuse to call the Police when we are shoved and threatened because of the Beloved Illegals? Are you friggin kidding me?
When I contacted both the manager the Free Palestine protests happening INSIDE her store in West Hollywood, she DEFENDED it as Free Speech, even as these demons were physically shoving people who were yelling back at their "Intifada Now" chants in the middle of the cheese section.
I asked the Manager to call the Police and she refused, stating that it would "endanger her customers" since a good number are "undocumented." Was I not her customer as well?
Then protestors and others got more angry and violent, stating that THEY were undocumented and thanking the Manager and then threatening ME for wanting to call the Police.
When I called Corporate, they said this was all up to the individual Managers at the store how they see fit.
Trader Joe’s needs to deal with all of the harassing people outside their stores and inside their stores. I’m sick and tired of trying to go shopping and ending up at a Free Palestine protest in the middle of the cheese department.
Their managers refused to call the police, refuse to kick out these people. Harassment is perfectly fine at Trader Joe’s as long as the manager agrees. That is what I was told by corporate. It’s private property so if the manager agrees anything goes apparently.
