I feel like many have forgotten that the first S in SARS stands for “Severe.” “Covid is mild now! It’s basically just a cold!” Right, right… and you think viruses only damage your body in ways you can feel immediately? 🤨 It’s a severe disease even if it doesn’t feel that way!

Two points: first, there is no 'after Covid'. There is 'after the end of societal non-pharmaceutical interventions'. Second, Covid can cause both prolonged fatigue and prolonged cognitive dysfunction. Because Covid is so common, population level effects are inevitable.
