Last night an AI agent performed brain surgery on a mouse.
We gave it 19 gene therapy vectors in a spreadsheet, a mouse model of epilepsy, access to a motorize surgery rig with cameras and one goal: reduce seizures.
It picked the drug. It picked the brain region. It derived the coordinates from three papers. Then it drove the stereotaxic arms into the brain and injected 250 nanolitres while watching the entry site through the rig camera for bleeding.
A licensed vet gated every irreversible step and held a physical kill switch to stop the AI agent.

Last night, @higgsfield sent @ComfyUI a cease and desist (attached)
They want the Open Source Higgsfield challenge taken down within 48 hours.
Their argument is that our use of the Higgsfield name and that using their CEO's likeness is an infringement violation (man, the irony). Claiming that it makes the event look like Higgsfield is associated with it.
This couldn't be farther from the truth, which is that Higgsfield made a promise to open source its product and never did.
For the past two weeks, builders have been recreating popular closed apps as open workflows anyone can run.
So we asked our community to deliver where Higgsfield failed: apps in the open, built by the community, for the community. We've made it clear that the challenge is organized by ComfyUI and not affiliated with or endorsed by Higgsfield.
When we started Comfy, we made the community a promise. Our product stays open, free, and yours. We’ve kept it every day since, and one letter isn’t going to change that.
The challenge stays up. Comfy and open source will win!

A threat actor on an underground forum claims to be selling data on about 81,000 users allegedly taken from Chulalongkorn University, one of Thailand's leading universities.
The actor claims the dataset includes:
* 81,705 records in JSON format
* First and last names
* National ID card numbers
* Full addresses
* Phone numbers
The actor is asking $1,000 and accepts escrow.
The claim has not been independently verified.
⚠️ Analyst Note:
Thai national ID numbers paired with addresses and phone numbers are enough for SIM-swap attempts, loan fraud and calls impersonating the university or government agencies. Students, staff and alumni should be wary of unexpected requests for verification or payment. Chulalongkorn University has not confirmed an incident. Unverified threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation of a breach.
