We're designing a CNC machined aluminum case for our CR-8 coherent receiver. While the CR-8 operates perfectly fine without a case, some users may want better cooling and protection for the PCB. Stay tuned for pictures of the prototype!

New mile stone for the Dragon Labs 8 channel receiver: First signal reception! It's working like a charm. The RF performance is even better than I was expecting. Literally no spur whatsoever in its entire frequency range and extremely sensitive. #sdr
It's slowly coming to life... Expect cool demos in a week or two :)

(Finally, after a year minus 80 days) Releasing SatDump 1.1.0!
The list of changes since 1.0.3 is by far too long to list here, but there's an article if you want to see. If you're still on something older, you definitely should update.

So, @aang254 and I have been discussing our frustration with the #RX888 SDR and its manufacturer from quite a while. We decided to write a document explaining everything we've had to deal with. Please read if you're considering purchasing one of these SDRs

I started BPS.space almost 7 years ago in the fall of 2015 with the goal to propulsively land a model rocket. I had no background in aero, EE, coding, etc so it took a lot of trial and error, but today I finally stuck the landing 🚀🎉

After a month of exams, I'm finally getting back to the DSP rewrite of SDR++. And good news, it's basically almost done! It's now much more selective, much more efficient and has new features! The AM enthusiast will be happy to learn that the AGC now has a carrier option :)

I built a SDR using a RPi Pico and a AT86RF215 transceiver! It's capable of transmitting and receiving simultaneously in either the 440 MHz, 900 MHz, or 2.4 GHz ISM bands. The xcvr communicates over LVDS, so there's a driver and receiver to convert to single ended 3V3.
