Hunter Schafer has undergone gender-affirming bottom surgery.
“I just had bottom surgery in December, which was amazing, and I love it so much,” Schafer told Elle magazine. “For a long time I’ve embraced the gender-expansive part of myself, and I really wanted to try to make that previous body work, because I thought there was something really cool and badass about it.”
Schafer described the ability to evolve as the “magical thing about queerness... on an ideological level, it’s about possibility and expansion and growth, and being on that journey and finding yourself.” While she had always viewed her gender identity as more fluid, she has now landed somewhere “flatter,” adding: "I’m a woman. I’m a girl."

iCloud photos is apparently VERY specific about what type of RAWs it likes, so now i have SIX DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE SAME IMAGE:
- original JPEG
- original RAW
- icloud (compressed?) JPEG
- icloud "original" JPEG
- RAW that sucessfully uploads if i click "Duplicate" in the Photos app
- Photo that only appears on my iPhone, created after clicking "Merge" in the "Duplicates" utility in the Photos app

there is a hypothetical seventh verison which involves merging the 4th and 5th image, which i will be able to test after icloud realises the 5th image is a duplicate of the 4th.
this duplicate RAW also has a completely different colourspace LMAO
