Some state owned enterprises should be merged to improve efficiency, reduce duplication, and streamline operations. I do not understand why implementation is being treated as such a difficult task.

Why is merging and disolving of some state owned entities still just a song? And not being actioned , in 2022 the fmr HE Masisi got on tv and gave us a plan to implement this, told us why and which ones were merging and the process was supposed to be over 24months, cause of deregistrations and other due diligence, It went to parliament and was passed I believe, then it was quiet and I figured cause election year, then I heard HE Boko mention it last year at the CEO meeting, yet even today it’s “being considered” whilst you have about 56 SoE and 45+ just burning money, and also we seem to be introducing 2 new ones every 6 months now
