How do you measure progress in quantum? Infleqtion CEO Matt Kinsella points to two things: revenue from products customers are buying today and technical milestones toward useful quantum computing.
On FOX Business’s Making Money with Charles Payne, Matt discussed how quantum sensing is already generating revenue and outlined Infleqtion’s computing roadmap, including its recently announced 30-logical-qubit milestone and target of 100 logical qubits by the end of 2028.
With a quantum chip in hand, he also explained the neutral-atom technology behind our computing and sensing products, why quantum matters for U.S. economic and national security, and the opportunities ahead as quantum and AI converge.

Price action does not change my conviction in the slightest.
Over the past few months, we’ve witnessed the worst high beta sell off in history. Did that change my conviction? Nope.
Just look at $INFQ …I bought it at $14 then it went to $10 the next day. Then it went to $20. Then it went to $8. Then it went back to $15. And now it’s back to $9. None of that has to do with the company itself. And in five years, if the stock price is $120, would any of that matter? It’s just noise.

THE BILLIONAIRES WHO ARE QUIETLY BETTING THEIR OWN MONEY ON QUANTUM
Tim Draper was first. His firm DFJ led a round in D-Wave in 2003 and in 2019 he personally invested in Xanadu.
Jeff Bezos followed in 2012, co-leading a $30 million D-Wave round alongside In-Q-Tel, the CIA’s venture arm. This July, Bezos Expeditions came back in, investing in Oratomic’s $300 million round. That round was co-led by Vinod Khosla’s firm Khosla venture marking their first quantum investment.
Eric Schmidt, Google’s former CEO, chairs SandboxAQ. Marc Benioff, Ray Dalio, Thomas Tull and Two Sigma’s David Siegel are investors there too. It’s valued at over $5.6 billion.
The billionaire twins Thomas and Andreas Strüngmann, early backers of BioNTech, invested in IQM through their family office.
Li Ka-shing backed Australia’s Q-CTRL through his personal firm.
Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund was in PsiQuantum’s 2020 round. Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan invested in PsiQuantum in 2019 and joined its board this year while also noting he owns some IONQ.
And quantum minted a billionaire of its own, Quantinuum founder Ilyas Khan, whose stake hit about $2.2 billion at the IPO.

$INFQ They’re targeting 50 logical qubits in 2027 for the Illinois system, with a path to 100. The broader roadmap targets 100 by 2028.
But the bigger milestone for investors should be is: commercial utility, not whether they reach 50 or 100 first.
They already have 3 customers working with logical qubit circuits for the 2027 roadmap. Turning that into meaningful, recurring compute revenue is what really matters.

$CRML Today's driver is the European Lithium deal closing a major step.
Critical Metals announced this morning that the schemes of arrangement for its acquisition of European Lithium have become legally effective, after the Supreme Court of Western Australia approved them on October 26. Under the deal, Critical Metals would acquire 100% of European Lithium's issued shares and listed options, paid for with new Critical Metals shares.
Implementation is expected November 5, with the new shares expected to start trading on Nasdaq November 6.
CRML closed the prior session at $6.38 and was at $8.13 in the latest quote, up about 27.4%.

THE CEASEFIRE HAS COMMENCED
The ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia took effect at 4:00am Moscow time on October 27, 2026.
Timing was accelerated two days ahead of schedule to protect the safety of civilians and to facilitate the delivery of critical humanitarian aid. The ceasefire’s geographic area has expanded beyond Oleshky, within the Kherson Region, to provide safe passage for the humanitarian convoys.
