What my parents did getting us a hot dinner most nights was really an underrated skill. So much work goes into it, & can be a thankless grind. I know some will think this is a decline thing, but to me, sitting down for dinner together > method of sitting down for dinner. Seems kinda fun every once in a while. I do a Dinner Lunchables/giant charcuterie platter about once a month that really feels so much easier than a whole dinner.
