Electron transport through redox-conducting MOFs is not all diffusion, but emerging electric fields cause migration that has been overlooked until now. It can be measured by steady-state experiments. Collaboration with Ben Johnson

In redox conducting MOFs, electric conductivity is a function of the redox state, and maximizes at the standard potential. @PHOTONS_FUEL @Drbenjohnsoniii @chem_angstrom

MOFs with discrete redox-active sites are redox conductors! Electric conductivity will depend on the applied potential, and maximize at the redox potential of the site.
