New research on binary-field proximity, Fiat-Shamir extraction, quantum preprocessing and permutation cryptanalysis was assessed against the actual production parameters.
What was checked:

648 October ePrint entries screened, plus 135 November follow-ups.

421 finite Reed-Solomon layers checked against their exact agreement and multiplicity requirements.

138 Poseidon2b matrix minors verified.
ā
33 native tests passed, covering transcript binding, class selection, State installation and rejection of altered inputs.
The follow-up proofs establish authenticated preprocessing and activation, three-class transcript binding, grouped source restoration and canonical State installation.
The numerical result is preserved: in the charged ideal model, the complete bound on adversarial success remains approximately 0.04937 at the declared Category 1 reference budgets. The dominant-term half-success gate-depth floor remains approximately 2^173.39 in that model.

IBM JUST UNVEILED ITS MOST ADVANCED QUANTUM COMPUTER.
IT RUNS THE MOST POWERFUL QUANTUM CHIP IBM HAS EVER BUILT.
IBM just unveiled a new IBM Quantum System Two running its Nighthawk processor. IBM calls it the most advanced quantum computer it offers.
Nighthawk is a 120 qubit chip with square-lattice connectivity, meaning each qubit links directly to more of its neighbors. That lets it run bigger, more complex circuits with fewer workarounds. Itās the same chip IBM just paired with Oak Ridgeās AMD powered supercomputer to work on error correction.
IBM CEO Arvind Krishna says the system can deliver scientifically useful results today, and itās already being put to work. Deloitte, AbbVie and Northwestern are using it for drug discovery, EPRI and the University of Illinois for power grids, and Fermilab for physics.
The system is running at the University of Chicagoās Hyde Park Labs and will anchor Illinoisā new National Quantum Algorithm Center, backed by a 25 million dollar state grant.
