SpaceX is working on dual flows for its upcoming Starship missions, with Flight 15 set for mid-November from Pad 2. This is ahead of Flight 16's vehicles, which are expected to head to KSC for a launch from 39A.

📸Comparison of the heat shields of Ship 40 (FLT 13) and Ship 41 (FLT 14). We can see that the forward part of the S41 heat shield still looks disposable due to traces of ablation of the intertile material in the area of the hexagonal tiles facing the plasma flow. Improve it❗️
I reboot as an apolitical space enthusiast account and then Truthful immediately chuds out, where's the justice in that?

Elon had no choice, the dems wanted to (still do) shut down and control his companies 🤷♂️

Literally everyone: GIVE US AN HLS UPDATE
*silence*
Berger: lol HLS requires 42 tanker launches 👹🤣
Elon: ummm ackshually it’s 6-7
Ragebait successful
I really don't think it should be controversial to take the Chief Engineer's word on a performance estimate.
NASA says 22 Starship flights are needed for orbital refueling to do Artemis IV moon mission, while Elon says 6-8. I’m curious where NASA gets their estimates, as Precourt seems particularly concerned about mission success due to the high number of orbital refuelings.
Without other information, I’m taking Elon’s estimates over NASA’s. He talks with SpaceX weekly, so either something is drastically off or NASA is using old V1-V2 numbers from years ago.
Charlie Precourt very well might have dug up an estimate from god knows where and it scared him so he brought it up in a meeting.
Elon knows the complete specs of the current V3 and what improvements SpaceX has planned.
Do an Elon Adjustment if you must, but come on.

Happy 65th birthday, NASA’s Stennis Space Center! 🎉
On Oct 25, 1961, NASA announced plans to build a rocket test site in south Mississippi to support the Apollo Program. In the decades since, work at the site has helped power every major chapter of America’s space program.
come the fuck on man

Starship crew won't land 100t of payload on the Moon. We are comparing crew vehicles not payload capacity.
