80s music, backstage stories, concert photography, rare memories, Huskers football and plenty of opinions.
I've spent decades collecting concert memorabilia and experiences you can't buy in a store.
Welcome to my little corner of X. Sarcasm included at no extra charge.
Truth!
If your partner is neurodivergent and she spends her whole day off on the couch, then cries at 9pm about wasting it, learn the words ADHD paralysis.
She had 12 things she wanted to do. Her brain couldn't pick the first one, so it picked none. You think she's lazy.
Don't ask "What do you want to get done today?" At 10am, hold out her shoes. "We're walking to get coffee." Once she's moving, she'll pick the next thing herself. All she ever needed was someone to take the first step with her.
I miss the days when you could go to a concert without watching half the show through everybody else's phone. π
Don't get me wrong, I take plenty of concert photos myself. Lol
But there's a difference between capturing memories and blocking everyone else's view. π

Happy 68th Birthday, Simon Le Bon, born October 27th, 1958. πππ
From the unforgettable hits of the '80s to this timeless classic, Simon and Duran Duran have given us a lifetime of great music.

I swear, being a Nebraska fan should qualify as an extreme sport. π€£
The emotional roller coaster every Saturday is ridiculous.
And yet, there I am the following week, wearing red, yelling at the TV, and completely convinced THIS is our week. ππ½π
.@SimonJCLeBON Happy birthday! May it be your best year ever!
@duranduran
I've noticed something hilarious about college football fans.
The ones who insist Nebraska hasn't been relevant in decades sure spend a LOT of time talking about us. π
For a program that supposedly doesn't matter, we sure live rent-free in their heads. π½π
One of my favorite things about estate sales is finding something everyone else overlooked.
And I absolutely LOVE researching an odd little item only to discover it's worth more than the fancy stuff sitting next to it.
It's like treasure hunting for grown-ups. π

We have lost the legendary @johnanderson tonight at the age of 71.
Read the official statement from his family and see the tributes pouring in from artists across Country Music tonight at k991fm.com/entertainment/johβ¦
Hey you! For those of you who need to hear this, this is for you! Better days are always ahead. β€οΈ
Just got a refund of $78.19! Thank you!
I hope I can tell y'all this without everybody bitching about Walmart or Samβs.
If you're paying $120 a year to have Walmart+ free delivery and benefits and you're also paying $120 a year to have Sam's Plus, you can now combine them into one membership for $120 a year for both and keep all benefits. I also got an instant refund of $99.11 directly to my bank account.
If your apps are updated on your iPhone, you can log into either to see the offer. Otherwise go online to your Samβs account.
"Theyβre bundling because it encourages you to shop more, stay longer, and use more services."
We use both all the time anyway so it benefits us. As far as Samβs goes, it's worth it for the hotdog and the Thanksgiving pies that are as big as a pizza. (yes, we buy items in bulk too. It's closer than Costco. That's the only reason.) We get Walmart delivery twice a week.
I swear, the opening notes of certain 80s songs can transport me back 40 years in about two seconds.
And somehow I can remember every lyric, but not why I walked into the kitchen five minutes ago. π
Please tell me I'm not alone.
College football fans have really gotten comfortable talking trash about programs whose trophy cases have more history than their entire fanbase. π
Having a great season is impressive. Acting like football didn't exist before you started winning is hilarious.
College football has changed so much that half the fans arguing about "blue bloods" couldn't tell you what their own team's program looked like 20 years ago. History didn't begin when you started watching football.
Product reviews are easy when something is terrible.
The hard part is finding stuff that actually delivers.
Iβve tested a lot of random things over the years - some winners, some total flops.
Whatβs one product you bought that completely surprised you (good or bad)?

Reminder -
Armed agents at the polls is a crime, not a gray area. The law doesnβt care what uniform theyβre wearing.
If you see it, write down where and when, take a photo if itβs safe, and call 866-OUR-VOTE.
