When Grimsby Town beat Manchester United in the EFL Cup last year, they sat 4th in the League Two table.
When Fleetwood beat Arsenal in the EFL Cup tonight, they sat 18th in the League Two table.
Arsenal's humiliation somehow an even worse loss than United's. Wow.
Fans hold a banner reading βStandardsβ at Old Trafford then applaud the guy responsible for lowering them. Now weβre stuck with a manager that has no clear football philosophy, and is ok with his players being outrun every week.π

π¨ BREAKING: Arsenal have been eliminated from the Carabao Cup by League Two side Fleetwood Town.
Fleetwood Town currently sit 18th in League Two.
I genuinely donβt get what people see in amad? Heβs no better than garnacho was
Stop pretending Carrick is blameless in the current problem United is facing.
Carrick puts out the team. Heβs in charge of the tactics, how the team sets up, and how they train.
Yes, I totally agree the board are shit and useless. Yes, they deserve all the hate theyβre getting from supporters, including the owners. But letβs stop pretending Carrick is without blame.
He keeps saying he wants what is best for United. Well, if that was true, he wouldnβt be the manager.
He isnβt good enough. He knows it, we know it, and the players know it. If he really cared about the club over his own ambitions, he would have let the board hire a better manager.
So theyβre responsible for this club continuing to fail? Cheers. Now we have to watch this football for another few weeks because u applauded a failing manager
It did not go unnoticed by the #mufc front office that Michael Carrick received significant support from United fans during and after the defeat to Bournemouth [@RobDawsonESPN, @MarkOgden_]
Why doesnβt Carrick resign? If he cares so much about the club he should realise his time is over and keeping him in the job is just delaying the inevitable. Yes it takes a lot to βgive upβ but my respect for him would increase so much if he just walked away.

Been embarrassed in our last 2 games.
Standards have never been lower
Never been less excited for a United game in my life. Itβs never been this bad yet heβs not getting sacked. Even Rangnick played better football.
π¨ BREAKING: Michael Carrick set to be given time to turn things in around. Expected to be in charge for Chelsea.
Training is taking place as usual.
#MUFC now looking for a response at Stamford Bridge.
Genuinely donβt get the Rodri hype. Robbed Messi at the World Cup for poty and shouldnβt be ahead of him at the balon dor
Idk why but Kane is just so likeable. Especially compared to yamal and mbappe. Seems really humble and he has not talked about how he should win the balon dor before the ceremony. Well deserved aswell.
