This actually just gagged me lmaoooo.
Rebecca hated men, so naturally she posted about them 10 times a day on Instagram.
She was never going to find a life partner. No one shared her love of wildlife or lived up to her cleanliness standards.
One day she shared a photo of a crow who'd brought her a coin.
"That's actually a raven," a guy named Kyle responded.
"Thanks for the mansplaining 🙄," Rebecca replied.
A mere decade earlier, Rebecca might have been excited that a man also liked birds. She might have scrolled through his profile and noticed that his place was extremely tidy and and that he joked he was an old man who loved bird-watching.
But alas, it was 2026. Kyle also had a chip on his shoulder about the opposite sex, so he called her a stupid feminist & she blocked him.
Don't worry. This is not an unhappy ending. Rebecca doesn't need a man and Kyle knows women aren't worth the trouble. They're both self-reportedly VERY happy alone!

The care you want is always available to you. Perhaps not in the form you’re idealizing, but there are infinite forms.

The dating pool these days. People like the idea of being in a relationship or being someone’s partner but have zero intentions of getting to know people intimately and honestly.

It's almost like we need every interpersonal conflict to produce a morally innocent party so nobody has to sit with the possibility that two ppl can have incompatible needs without either one being unreasonable
