Some women claim they become invisible with age, but I think it's really just that women are used to people *automatically* paying attention to them because they're young & pretty enough. Then they're put in a position where they have to make the first moves & initiate convo & they're utterly unused to this, so they struggle. I've known older women who don't feel invisible, just older, and they tend to be intelligent, witty, & enjoyable to talk to. They don't need the glow of fertile youth as an anchor to get people's attention; they can just talk. I could be wrong though. Thoughts?
