What I notice is that the man who said "I don't ever give up" in 2012 is the same guy still running SpaceX and Tesla today. Love him or not, he's consistent.

FSD in late 2026: where it actually stands, from a regular owner in New Jersey. 🚗
There's so much noise, so here's what's real right now.
🇪🇺 Europe
The Dutch regulator RDW just renamed FSD (Supervised) in Europe to "Tesla Assisted Driving." It also capped the speed offset at +10%, down from +50%, and it resets to 0% every time you start the car. It's accepted in 10 countries so far, and an EU-wide vote isn't expected before December. Progress, but with training wheels.
🇺🇸 Unsupervised for owners
On the Q3 call, Tesla said some customer cars should get FSD (Unsupervised) around Q2 2027. The catch is that the first step is owners adding their cars to Tesla's Robotaxi fleet, inside Robotaxi zones only. So this is not "my car drives me anywhere, no hands" yet.

@robotaxi is running in 6 US metros, with close to 2 million cumulative unsupervised miles through Q3. None of them are in New Jersey, so I'm still supervising mine.
📈 Adoption
Active FSD subscriptions are up 67% in a year to 1.74 million, at $99 a month in the US. People are paying for it, and that tells you something.
⚠️ The not-so-perfect part
Some owners are reporting regressions on v14.3.13. Every release isn't a straight line up, and anyone who uses it daily knows that.
My honest take: the supervised version is already the best driver-assist I've used. Unsupervised is coming, but it'll roll out zone by zone, not with a flip of a switch. I'll believe "anywhere" when I see it work on the Garden State Parkway at rush hour. 😅

There's a 401(k) deadline nobody talks about, and it isn't Dec 31.
It's your LAST PAYCHECK of the year.
401(k) money only goes in through payroll. If your company's final December paycheck hits on the 19th, that's your real cutoff. Once it passes, 2026 is done, and no check you write later counts.
So here's my November money checklist. It takes 15 minutes:
1️⃣ Log into your 401(k) and look at your year-to-date contributions.
The 2026 limit is $24,500. If you're 50 or older, you can add $8,000 more. Ages 60 to 63 get a bigger catch-up of $11,250.
2️⃣ If you want to max out, do the math now.
Take what's left to hit the limit and divide it by the paychecks you have left. Raise your percentage today, because payroll changes can take a cycle or two to kick in.
3️⃣ Make sure you're getting the full match.
I max my 401(k) and get my company match, and the match is the closest thing to free money there is. Some plans match per paycheck, so check how yours works before you front-load and miss out.
4️⃣ Don't forget the IRA.
The 2026 IRA limit is $7,500, and you have until the tax deadline in April 2027 to fund it. Less pressure, but don't leave it on the table.
5️⃣ Open enrollment? Look at the HSA.
If you're picking a high-deductible plan for 2027, the IRS already set next year's HSA limits at $4,500 self-only and $9,000 family (Rev. Proc. 2026-24). Pre-tax going in, it can be invested, and it's tax-free coming out for medical costs.
The 2027 401(k) limits aren't announced yet. Last year the IRS put them out in mid-November, so watch for that.

Advance bookings? Every tracker has a different number, but all of them are huge. Sacnilk (via Economic Times) has it past ₹96 crore, and BoxOffice India 24 has US pre-sales above $2.1 million. That's before a single show has played.
And three days later it's Diwali. The timing could not be better.
Now the honest part. After Adipurush, a lot of us were nervous. That film tried to go big and ended up getting trolled for its VFX and dialogue. Prabhas deserved better, and so did the story. Adipurush set the bar low. This one looks like it was made by people who actually respect the material.
Part 2 is expected around Diwali 2027, so this is just the beginning.
