Actually I just realized that the undying love and passion I have for Vincic I also have for many of you … Just know that I want you guys to go on to referee your own World Cup final, whatever that may look like — and I’ll be cheering all the way #thebeautifulgame #oflove

Explained the term ‘My Shayla’ at bookclub tonight by saying that for instance I might say Connor Storrie is My Shayla due to his being so precious. But now I’ve just looked up its origins and 🧍‍♀️

A huge divide between a lot of native NYers and transplants is how much they value public parks. I've lived here my entire life and I don't think i've stepped foot in Central Park once in my entire adult life.

Browsed far enough down my Instagram tags that I’ve been overcome by a desire to repurchase a jungle patterned j crew jumpsuit I used to own…feel this is on the same spectrum as wanting to get bangs. But what if I could recapture the magic….

Was very much struggling to carry my pumpkin and marigold plant down the interminable subway exit but was comforted by the fact that soon this will also be the lot of @ironhandslil

Also I was very moved by a packet of sour patch kids who are holding hands at the deli. They’re besties

I’ve asked this before but is there any historical event that is like the Opposite of 9/11. Like something so good that happened that it changed the world forever

Is The Guardian and The Thief by Majumdar basically a version of The Pearl by Steinbeck for our times?

People are so deep in BBL culture that people don’t even realize that her butt, literally matches her thighs… & she doesn’t even have a bad butt. But what kind of ass were you expecting?? BBL? High glute muscle, even though she has minimal leg muscle?

i should start a happiness training program. i think i'm a credible teacher as long as no one looks into my emotional spirals on the occasional night i don't have plans
People in rich countries are unhappy. In the US they're truly miserable. Sentiment fell more in the US since 2019 than any other country. US sentiment at the 0th percentile of pre-COVID history, others generally around 25th percentile. And our economy doing better than most!

There is a lot that is valid here but people absolutely can and do have babies in a one bedroom apartment, so a smaller piece of it is also our expectations. But anyway this is why I'm glad about NYC DSA hopefully being more pragmatic on housing! nytimes.com/2026/10/25/nyreg…

Getting the 'subscribe' page of a mag you do subscribe to while reading someonthing on it stings ngl...we mean nothing to them, they forget us because they have us, and yearn only for those who have not already joined the ranks. Meanwhile we are forgotten, our logins lost to time

sometimes it does happen this way
Went to Olive Garden with a friend today to fight the hangover and the waitress was great. So I wanted to give her a $20 tip on our $80 bill. So I gave her the $100 bill and she was SO happy and thankful for her $100 tip so we just paid the $80 bill also, lmfao. 😭
