Tax rules expose how wealth gets distributed. In capitalism, uneven wealth distribution is baked in. And the tax code is a huge tilt toward the rich. Wage earners face high income-tax rates no matter how hard they work. High earners can lose 30%–40% to tax, then cover living costs and investing. What's left as assets is tiny. Capitalists play a different game. Almost every tax system gives long-term investors big breaks. In the US: long-term capital gains under $50K (single) or $100K (married filing jointly) can even be tax-free. Labor income marginal rates can hit 37%. Long-term capital gains commonly sit at 0% / 15% / 20% (current US IRS federal brackets). Same income. Completely different tax friction.
