Western liberals imported the third world into France and other countries in the name of diversity and compassion. They ignored fundamental questions of assimilation and compatibility. They were told it would lead to this and they didn't listen.

Anytime I see an old WWII photo of British soldiers, I can't help but hear a similar dialogue in my head:

Why is everyone acting so shocked by this? Yes, for real. Of all things, Trump understands *symbolism*. Ever since the end of Nidal Hasan's trial, I would periodically read articles about him once or twice a year and think "How on earth is this man still alive? The UCMJ is literally designed to expedite punishment and curtail normal civil rights. Take care of this!" He was a symbol - not just of our failing criminal justice system, but our failing military. Hasan flat out said in court martial, "I'd do it again" - he should have been executed 15 years ago. Every year that went by in which his continued existence mocked us all was an allegory for the years ticking by in which we were subject to dogged continuation of our awful, sclerotic nation building exercises in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Trump is making a statement. You don't have to watch. I will be critical if he makes it a Trumptacular spectacle and uses it to sell a commemorative coin. But if handled with the proper solemnity, I think it a powerful symbol, drastically overdue, and I will watch prayerfully.

I remember hearing a story about a documentary released in 1990 ussr, right before the end of communism. It was called Tak Zhit Nel'Zya (translated from Russian, "We Can't Go On Living Like This") and it was all about how terrible life was in Soviet Russia. It was only allowed to release because the Communist Party no longer had the will to suppress criticism, they had given up by then. Russians wept openly during screenings partially because it was for many the first time ever that the full truth about the crappy quality of life in Russia was allowed to be discussed. For the first time, Russians could sit together openly and commiserate over what they always knew but were never allowed to say without fear of reprisal: That life in Soviet Russia was objectively awful.
All this to say - @SarahHuckabee could've been the one to crack the seal on what we all know is true but cannot discuss openly on the national level: that whites are on average the ONLY net contributors, and blacks are on average ONLY a net drain.
We will get our Tak Zhit Nel'Zya moment, and the first national-scale Republican politician with the balls to lead it will became a champion.

I think of it more so as an end to "atomism" - the view that one's life is totally separate from everyone else. Boomers love to believe that they can make bad decisions and it either won't affect anyone else ("We can divorce and the kids will be fine"), or that its simply not their problem and they dont have to care. We are meant to be part of a whole - atoms of molecules, molecules or single cell org, and so on. Individuality is good when expressed biblically - "Who does God mean for me to be? What is my unique place in the local division of labour? Who will be MY mate?" Etc - but biblical individuality includes recognizing your place in, and duty to, the Whole. Atomistic unbiblical individuality (what we've mostly had since counterculture era) cares nothing for the Whole, just me-me-me.
I think a lot of young peoole and families would be happy to trade away all the me-me-me of their parents and grandparents for feeling like part of a meaningful God-honouring whole.
You know what? She's correct. I say that as a solid Christian conservative. Post WW2 Right Wing has mostly laboured under the civic nationalist delusion that there is a "neutral public square". There isn't, that was always a lie. Liberals knew it was a lie, thats why they have controlled the suppsedly neutral public square of ideas for 50 years - they just pretended to believe in it when convenient, like to allow literal communist terrorists to become protected college professors (Angela Davis, Brett Kimberlin, etc). They otherwise quite well understood that there is either "right" or "wrong" and nothing in between, and that they should not be afraid to fight for the supremacy of their own religion (for that is what Liberal Wokism is).
The age of the mythical neutral public square is past. Neocons and Boomercoms who cant get past Reagan and John Rawls need to be left behind. Everything really is political and the RW needs to start acting like it

Not my recollection. I recall Kamala being a few tics over Trump for quite a while. And I don't count reversals a few days from the event - I want to know if betting odds made reliable and consistent long predictions. So far they seem to be a crapshoot on any contention issue.
Remember: with woke liberals, the reason is never the real reason. Some type of power struggle mind game is usually at play. Think: Who are the #1 Ed Sheeran fans? White women. He is only a few tics beneath Taylor Swift in popularity. But Taylor Swift kisses the globohomo ring openly. Sheeran has tried to remain "apolitical" in general - but woke globohomo believes (and correctly) that there is no such thing as being apolitical, youre either with globohomo or youre their hated enemy. Punishing Ed Sheeran for un-Globohomolike behaviour (just being apolitical) is meant to send a message to his main fan base, white women. "If we can persecute Ed Sheeran for not playing along, we can persecute you. Get in line."

So in a matter of days, Ed Sheeran has lost all his support acts, he's lost his house band, he's been banned from various commercial radio stations, Ireland's press has stated he's never welcome to return to the country, organized protests are being formed to take place in the grounds outside upcoming concert dates, he's been accused of having links to Jeffrey Epstein, and Goebbels-style cartoons have been pushed everywhere of his likeness.
And the left think this is progress?
The globalist Neocons/Liberals who controlled the US govenment since the 1990s intended for H1b to be pathway to de facto citizenship. Let them buy homes with 30 yr loan, bring their spouses, have kids (who get to become citizens), bounce between jobs, start side businesses, etc - and eventually the government would more or less give them amnesty. Im sure the major banks had been assured many times by their govenment golf buddies that h1b'ers were here to stay. Unfortunately for them, trusting the government often leads to disappointment. No sane bank should have been giving h1bers loans at anything other than an extremely high interest rate with large down payment.
