I have a confession to make. I wrote a book to help make economic cycles more clear to the typical person and am in the final edit now. Due to this, I just launched a new Substack as an accompaniment. Welcome to The Rhythm of the System.

Admittedly, I am no where near where I want to be on this topic. I am aggressive by nature, and still struggle with when to pull back on the reigns.
I'll be there, and am looking forward to it.
Tonight at 8 PM ET I'm running a free live webinar on understanding when to press into stocks and when to play more defense.
One of the biggest issues people have is trading aggressively in a market that no longer rewards aggression. Let's fix it.
I built our Market Blueprint framework around defining the market environment from the top down and trading only when the best conditions are met. Tonight I'm sharing that framework with anyone who struggles with overtrading.
What we'll cover:
1. How to define the primary trend of the market (and why it matters)
2. How breadth plays a role in the way you trade
3. Why sector and industry strength and rotation is such a huge money maker for traders
4. What rates, the dollar, volatility and more mean to your trading
5. How to define and trade around financial institutions' appetite for risk
And more.
The goal is to hand you the tools you need to stop losing money by overtrading markets that have turned against you. A dollar saved is a dollar earned.
It's completely free, but because of platform limits there's a cap on how many people can attend, so it's first come, first served.
The opportunity to save tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars a year by avoiding stupid trades is huge. And for me, I get to meet you, learn why you're there, and hopefully come away with better ways to help our members.
Ultimately I want you to walk away feeling like I just unlocked something incredible for you.

What do you want covered tonight?
Just another feckless politician turning his back on the First Amendment when in power.
I think Trump's own statesman, Kid Rock, put it best when he said:
"But this amendment one it rings true
And if you don't dissent, bitch, then see number two"

Pretty much.
As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

This is a great and very informative write-up on some warning signs for high growth stocks/companies.
Thanks to @thedave2006 for reposting and bringing it to my attention!

Reminder that the issues with AI has nothing to do with demand or the growth of AI companies. The issues are lack of power for data centers and rapidly rising debt costs.
You don't grow your way out of those with more AI demand and higher valuations.

Aside from the fact that he doesn't understand how credit cycles work, stating that markets are being "disingenuous" has to be one of the worst/funniest takes I've ever seen. 😂
When we send people to DC, we are clearly not sending our best. FFS 🤦♂️
