I know you've been wondering where I have been , for the past 6 months I have been battling chronic kidney disease which has taken a toll on me and my family .I have been in and out of hospital for the past 6 months approximately 3 times this year .

This is fundamentally a question of distributive and intergenerational justice. COP31 must address the asymmetry between historical emissions and climate vulnerability, particularly through predictable adaptation finance and the operationalisation of loss and damage mechanisms.
The climate crisis is a double injustice.
Between countries: those who have contributed the least to it are the hardest hit.
Between generations: what we emit today will be paid for by our grandchildren.
I’m heading to #COP31 with an urgent call for more #ClimateAction.
