The fact that Trump decided he was NOT done terrorizing America and decided to run again pisses me off so bad. We were so close to moving on.

Commuting long-distance to college has enormous opportunity costs outside rent. Affects social life, career, personal well-being. You only get to go to college as a young person once.
If it's the only way to afford it, ok. But really try to go in-person, live away from parents.
Vancouver rent was so expensive that university student Tim Chen found it cheaper to fly to class twice a week.
In February 2024, UBC student Tim Chen explained that renting a one-bedroom would cost him roughly C$2,500 a month.
Instead, he lived rent-free with his parents in Calgary, and commuted by plane.
He only needed to attend campus two days a week. Each round trip cost around C$150, bringing his monthly flight bill to roughly C$1,200.
His routine: fly to Vancouver in the morning, attend class, take the bus back to the airport and fly home that night.
Eight return trips a month still cost less than half the rent he’d been quoted.
You then miss out on the amazing college experience and campus life. You also have to live with your parents which is awful for gaining independence

BTW this guy has been on the Supreme Court for 35 years and is one of the nine people who have the final say on what laws get passed in America. He's opposed gay rights every single time same sex marriage bills came to the supreme court.
Black people have virtually no power to institutionalize homophobia, white people do. This includes white queers, who have often weaponized their whiteness at the disservice of the broader queer community and other marginalized groups.

Being gay is punished by the death penalty in multiple black majority countries such as Somalia, Uganda, and South Sudan.
In the US Clarence Thomas, a black Supreme Court Judge, consistently votes down LGBTQ rights. Conversely, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson votes in favor.

BREAKING: US National Guard units in all 50 states are now quietly "mobilizing for next week's elections," per Ken Klippenstein.
The mission covers direct observation of ballot drop boxes and polling places, plus federal cybersecurity support.
It is the first time in US history the National Guard is being deployed at this scale ahead of elections.
Hegseth ordered military spy agencies to "mobilize every asset … to defend our election" so that "every lawful voter can cast their ballot free from foreign intimidation, coercion, or fear."
