growthepie needs your support and this time any ETH holder can help!
@OctantApp epoch 12 is in full swing and GLM as well as ETH holders can vote for their favorite teams building in the Ethereum ecosystem and beyond.

@growthepie_eth has added detailed tracking for @Starknet apps — now you can see real user activity data, spot which dApps are actually growing, and follow where people are spending time and transactions on the chain.
> For everyday users: It's a quick way to discover the hottest or fastest-rising projects on Starknet without guessing.
> For builders and devs: Tag/label your smart contracts properly (use tools like @open_labels), and your app's metrics will show up accurately in their dashboard.
This plugs you straight into transparent, on-chain performance visibility that helps everyone see real traction.
Simple, open data like this makes the ecosystem way easier to explore, understand and grow.
Big Ups to the @growthepie_eth team for shipping this!
More details in the tweet below (or visit growthepie.xyz for the full Starknet section).
🥧 Announcement: @Starknet application metrics on growthepie!
▸ Users: Find out which apps are gaining momentum
▸ Builders: Label your contracts and benefit from the metrics we provide
From finance to games to apps that help you focus, Starknet has it all!

If you have GLM staked and want to support Ethereum projects, make your way to the Octant app and donate to your favorite projects.
Octant matches the donations with 268 ETH (yes, almost $1M).
@growthepie_eth is also participating in this round and is grateful for every donor 🙏
Also, if you don't have any GLM staked yet, go get yourself some GLM and stake it so that you can partake in future rounds.
This is how you can help shape Ethereum.
You can just do things 🫡

Frontier phase on @megaeth is heating up.
App developers are now actively deploying and tagging their contracts with @open_labels.
Integration is a smart move. It gives developers free, transparent metrics on @growthepie_eth to track their early traction.
But more importantly, it instantly makes their new applications discoverable to the first wave of users on the fastest chain.
Flywheel is starting to spin.
App devs are busy deploying to @megaeth during its "Frontier" phase ahead of the full mainnet release.
We are now onboarding these same devs to growthepie for free metrics on their applications. Not only does this help them track onchain activity, but it also enables users to find their apps.
Onboarding is easy, simply tag your contracts on @open_labels! (link in next post)

And so it begins - MegaETH Frontier!
We are expecting to see some big numbers, track them live on growthepie.

The Web3 trust layer just got stronger:
Blockscout now integrates address labels from @open_labels 🤝
This integration brings high quality, community sourced address context directly into Blockscout explorers, giving users and developers clearer insight into onchain activity
Thousands of OLI provided tags are already live and continually expanding as the dataset grows with contributions from the community 🫵
Look for the gradient OLI tags directly in the Explorer

@open_labels is growing 😎
awesome to see it integrated in @blockscout 🫡
OLI tldr:
- one common standard
- a community-sourced label pool with all raw labels
- transitive trust algos to create confidence in labels

I've summarized it here docs.sourcify.dev/blog/human…
The biggest blocker is a widely accepted cross-wallet spec and registry of contract functions to human readable intent mappings.
The most advanced one is ERC7730 from Ledger actually but it needs to be under a neutral entity and requires participation from other wallets.
If the spec goes through, then the biggest bottleneck is the validation definition files for each and every protocol. Requires a lot of manual inspection.
Then there's the monetization concerns around clear signing and recent comms failures which makes it very difficult to push it as a common standard.

The recent API drama made me reflect, not about APIs themselves, but about how we treat smart contracts.
Smart contract source code and labels must be public goods. Why? Because transparency creates a shared layer of knowledge that everyone can audit, learn from, and build on.
Without open code and open tagging, we create blind spots. Blind spots lead to misunderstandings, slower innovation, and ultimately weaker security.
That’s why Routescan proudly collaborates with @verifalliance and @open_labels : open verification and clear labeling aren’t “nice-to-haves”… they’re what make crypto trustworthy

Well then great that we have a whole plethora of infra that were aware that this could happen at any time:
@routescan_io
@blockscout
@SourcifyEth

Someone just needs to unite all of these efforts and voila! Even a beter solution!

we've been investing quite some time in overhauling our @open_labels infra from the ground up.
@SourcifyEth tried attesting 7M contract labels, but at 6 TPS, these attestations came in way too slowly. New infra improvements should be able to handle 150 TPS of synchronous or up to 1000 TPS of async uploads 🫡
we'll hopefully release some official code updates next week. stay tuned
