I brought my team to Moonshot and they came back to say that the moment they mentioned Lenora, many people asked about me and were more receptive.🥹 I also experienced the perceptions people had about our work in real time with how I kept getting introduced to important people & I really just want to say now more than ever, it’s so important to chronically tell the stories behind your journey to excellence as a builder. I even took the mic to ask a question at the storytelling surgery session with @WimbartHope @victorfatanmi & @AishaSalaudeen, I introduced myself as a storytelling consultant & Founder, and someone ( out of many btw ) walked up to me after to say they would like to work with me. I also went the extra mile to share my thoughts with another Founder who had asked a question in the session about storytelling for his business and when I finished talking to him, he was so ecstatic and asked if he could hug me and we also exchanged numbers. No event happens without hiccups, but the quality of experience, conversation and people at Moonshot this year was to die for! I’m so grateful that I got to experience how much of a gem this was and I’m so excited to uncover the opportunities in the connections I’ve made in the last two days. I’m currently ill, my voice is completely gone but the courage & conviction I have about this as the marking of a new beginning? None of you naysayers can steal it from me and we’ll be here in months to come to talk about the aftermath.🙏🏽✨ Thank you so much @TechCabal, Mr Damola Aladekomo, Tomiwa Aladekomo, @lone_Ranger95 and every single person on the team! Special mention to you my queen @eboigbeanita, I know you’ll probably going to give me the look😭 but I’m forever in awe and gratitude to you for how much you’ve done in showing me commitment to excellence pays off. I won’t let you down!🧡✨

You would think the players in the Nigerian Fintech industry are many, until you get into the game.

Moonshot will never stop being an amazing experience for me. I’ve had the privilege of experiencing it from different perspectives: first as an attendee, then working behind the scenes, and now experiencing it again as both.

Your developer built the product. Your company paid for it. But does your company own the IP? It is a question many founders may not think to ask until they start preparing for investor due diligence. You have the product. You have the payment records. You may even have a contract. But have you checked what that contract actually says about intellectual property? If your startup relies on software built by a freelancer, contractor, employee or co-founder, you need to understand what rights your company holds and what documents support those rights. Because building the product, paying for the work and establishing ownership are not necessarily the same thing. We've written a new article for founders covering: → What to check in developer and contractor agreements. → Why co-founders and other contributors should not be overlooked. → The difference between ownership, licensing and registration. → How an unclear IP position can create questions during investor due diligence. → A practical checklist to help you review your startup’s arrangements. Read the full article: Who Owns Your Startup’s IP? tr.ee/j4Lm6c If you are preparing to raise funds, do not wait until an investor asks for evidence of your rights before reviewing your documents. And if you have never conducted an IP ownership review, that is a sensible place to start. At @LeapWise_LP, we help startups prepare for investor due diligence. The aim is to identify questions early, understand the legal position and address gaps before they become urgent. #StartupFounders #IPOwnership #InvestorReadiness #IntellectualProperty #DueDiligence

Who owns your startup’s IP? It’s a straightforward question. But the answer can become critical when you raise capital, enter a partnership or pursue an acquisition. We unpack why IP ownership matters and what founders should consider.

The same Ilorin that men would flaunt their penises inside public vehicles and nobody says anything. I kept hearing about it from people I know until it happened to me. I told the driver. He behaved as if I was talking to the air. Hypocritical society.

She is right tho and she is entitled to dress how she please But then when you are in Rome behave like one We all know ilorin people don’t joke with dressing same as northerners they wil insult the living hell out of you She can do this in Abuja and Lagos and nobody will even look at her This are things we all know and should avoid to Stay safe ladies And mothers some of you should learn to mind your business to But most importantly ladies dress the way you feel confident and comfortable but know where and when to

My cousin taught me how to eat white rice and stew. I used to hide to throw my white rice and stew away before she came. I saw she enjoyed eating rice and white stew and asked her to teach me. I still use that method till date. She taught me to tell the time. She taught me so many things as I used to shadow her and ask her many questions. I later taught my younger ones some of the things she taught me. The only thing I didn't like was she'd make me and my brother carry the heavier stuff when she's obviously stronger than us. 😭 That's how comfortable she was in our home. 💖 Now she's married to the love of her life with whom I am pleased with (I hold men to high healthy standards. A lot of husbands in Nigeria would fail to meet my standards of what a good husband is. 😂) Very cool girl over all. I don't take her slander from anybody. . . . Treat the children under your roof well! They hold influence over your children.
I don't understand the concept of discriminating against a child simply because they are not biologically yours. One of my cousins stayed with us. We always got the SAME outfits. I'd try and copy her whenever she's wearing an outfit I have and she'd get angry and change outfits. 😂💔 I call her my big sister now. My point is if they sleep under your roof, they are yours. Treat them as such.

It is very easy to spot a maid, when it gets to her turn the stones to design her dress finished 😭 Women will always be women

The freelance developer detail got me. I used to think paying for the work settled who owned it. Your point about no clear IP assignment clause is what I would have missed until due diligence. What should a founder get signed first?
