When the season started, PSG looked like they weren't going to win the Ligue 1 or even the UCL. But since beating Slovan Bratislava 6-1 in the UCL, they've gone on to win 7 straight games across all competitions beating the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City in that run.
The game yesterday against Lyon ended 2-0 in favour of PSG but the scoreline doesn't really tell the full story. PSG had a whooping 17 attempts at goal with 10 of them on target. Both goals were scored by substitutes...one a new summer recruitment in Mika Godts who has settled into life in France. He only played 33 minutes but grabbed a goal and an assist to help PSG continue their run.
This shows the amount of quality this squad possesses in the absence of Kvara, Dembele, Nuno Mendes and Marquinhos.
Which is why they're easily considered favorites to win the UCL again๐.
