Economy of scale at work. I can lower mutant pricing now. 30$ per developer per month, and 250$ on annual commitment. Used to be 3x. Why: Got many more customers due to AI agents needing constraints. Also less support per customer needed as well prompted one can self onboard.

So good to see this from Garry Tan, CEO of @ycombinator ! Friends, let’s share! Also: this combo is making me super efficient building internal tools for @evilmartians 💪. Don’t sleep on it!
I think people are sleeping a bit on how much Ruby on Rails + Claude Code is a *crazy unlock* - I mean Rails was designed for people who love syntactic sugar, and LLMs are sugar fiends.

Convention over configuration set the path for 20+ years of great training data for AI to use today. Not only does this mean agents do great with Rails, but also that squishy humans can quickly and confidently review the output without a jungle of distracting boilerplate.

Vibe coding is dangerously addictive for CEOs. You skip communication, skip delegation, and just watch ideas turn into code and features. The problem isn’t “AI slop.” It’s your focus. Code generation was never your bottleneck. Talking to users was.

We’ve used Mutant at @arkency for over a decade. Now we’re joining forces with @_m_b_j_ to bring it to more Rubyists and push it into the future of validating both human and AI-generated code. Ruby deserves tools like this. ❤️ github.com/mbj/mutant

More #ruby - related content!
Our crew doesn’t just organize wroclove.rb - we also share our knowledge at other conferences 💡 This year, our co-organizer @yanoo_ took the stage at @friendlyrb with his talk "Back to Simplicity" - huge thanks to our friends there for having him!

"Hey Andrzej, can you help me get into Ruby?" I was asked this question 4 times in the last 2 weeks only. All by >10yrs experienced programmers from Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript. Why? Because they all watched the recent @dhh interview with @lexfridman and they want to be part of the Ruby luxury world too.

🇱🇹 Lithuanian athlete Kornelija Dudaitė was disqualified from the World Fitness Championship for wearing a T-shirt with the slogan “Make Russia small again.” The competition took place in Budapest and included the Russian team. Although the athletes were supposed to compete as “neutral,” the announcer introduced them as Russians, and they wore T-shirts displaying their country’s name. In protest, the Lithuanian athlete wore a T-shirt with this slogan, but the organizers demanded she remove it, claiming it “offended Russian athletes.” Kornelija Dudaitė refused, which led to her disqualification. However, her protest was supported by the national federation, and all 28 Lithuanian athletes withdrew from the competition in solidarity. 💛 LITHUANIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS! YOU ARE AMAZING! 💚 THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS TO THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE. ❤️

Shopify, GitHub, Gitlab, Instacart, Intercom, Square, Coinbase, Figma, Chime, Cisco, and for example, Y Combinator's own software. Ruby and Ruby on Rails are doing pretty awesome!
I was talking with an engineer at GitHub who told me they learned to love Ruby on Rails. I thought I remembered GitHub used to run on RoR Apparently, it still does! The .com, for sure! (How did I forget about this?)
