Xabi Alonso has made it clear that there was never any doubt about Cole Palmer’s future at Chelsea, despite the summer links with Manchester United.
🗣️ Alonso: “Absolutely, I was assured he would remain a Chelsea player. He was always part of the plans and the project. There were zero discussions about him leaving in the summer and not being here.”
Palmer remains central to Chelsea’s project and has committed his future to the club by signing a new contract.
