Proud to unveil my latest project! 🌸🥳 I hope you will like it! 👇 SAKURA is a sculpture + shortfilm diptych, blurring the boundaries between tangible and digital art. Both pieces resonate with each other, as two sides of the same coin. part1 - STATE OF STASIS - This light sculpture depicts a female figure, 3D printed, bathed in constant moving colors. (dimensions: 50 x 25 x 64 cm // 3D printing, wood, aluminium, leds, electronic board) SAKURA (state of stasis + the awakening) is a diptych consisting of a light sculpture and a 3D animated short film. Taking up themes dear to me, these two artworks are part of the humanity/nature/technology trinity and question the resulting interactions and frictions. With a contemplative and poetic approach, this diptych stages the stasis, then the awakening of a female figure, first plunged into an artificial digital sleep, before waking up and opening up to a new reality. Here, the image of spring and cherry blossoms acts as a real liberation, an outbreak, a redemption, which reconnects our humanity to a nature too long forgotten, distorted by the digital borders that we have woven between us and the reality of the world. 1/3
