Yeah, but Aubry didn't play the idol! did she?!
Scenarios where she didn't play the idol & voting her out (which would get the Boomerang idol back to Devens!) were NOT considered! 👇
1️⃣ Aubry was in no alliance! In fact, the Boomerang idol, increases her target level! When can they next organise a vote against Aubry?
Devens next Episode: "Had we known she was gonna do it, we would've voted her out and gotten the idol back!"
2️⃣Aubry and Genevieve would have NEVER worked together! They actively were hunting for each other! That's a max of two votes for Devens IF Aubry convinced Joe.
3️⃣ And, Joe would have likely gone with whatever Christian & Devens plan was, as long as he was safe! He is VERY predictable!
🎲So there were TWO real possible scenarios:
Option 1: Genevieve still goes home but the idol is FOR SURE flushed out!
Option 2: Aubry doesn't play her idol and goes home! instead of Genevieve.
Considering what Genevieve and @Sam_Phalen pulled off in her season, not THAT far fetched... and Devens LOVES a showy move! 💥
(🗳️Vote breakdown below)
Either way, the situation was more fluid than Aubry has an idol, we can't vote for her. and the idol could have been flushed out or returned to Devens.
@Rick_Devens & @chubicki Did you'll consider voting Aubry at all during the Genevieve vote? 👀
Please. My pattern addicted brain is begging for clarity at this point :D 🧠
@TheBigBroTea Same show, yes.. just one of us is an overthinker!😄🎬
____
🗳️Vote Breakdown -🎯Target Aubry / her idol:
Genevieve + Joe + Rick/Devens → 3 votes on Aubry
Rick/Devens + Aubry → 2 votes on Genevieve
❌ If Genevieve does not play her shot in the dark + Aubry does not play her idol
→ Genevieve stays
✅ If Aubry plays her idol
→ Genevieve goes home
OR
Genevieve plays her shot in the dark +
Rick/Devens + Joe → 2 on Aubry
Rick/Devens + Aubry → 2 on Genevieve
❌ Aubry doesn't play the idol
→ they choose Aubry in second round
✅ If Aubry plays the idol
→ Genevieve goes home

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.

Excellent storytelling by Shaun Pollock on team meetings and how it doesn't always help... Perhaps why MS Dhoni didn't believe much in them and at max had a minute or so before games!
Also, notice the quality of commentary here compared to what Indians are fed with! 🙏@abcsport

I heard someone say “I don’t feel like myself lately, I must be growing” what a beautiful perspective for uncomfortable seasons.
Men: families are important! one step further JOINT FAMILIES!
women: Give up your careers and take care of your parents! ( especially if you're survival is already taken care of!)
Men: 😶
I hope now that all MEN who have enough to survive will give up a free hours a day to take care of their parents.
right?

can we normalize returning summaries to the backs of the books again instead of reviews and praises? i just want to know what the book is about.

still remember watching a David Attenborough documentary where he mentioned that at full gallop the Cheetah's whole body is lifted off the ground longer than the times the paws makes contact, so in a way the Cheetah is almost flying.

The real water reserve is beneath our feet. Soil has the capacity to hold 800% more water than all the rivers put together. But that potential can be realized only when the land has substantial native vegetation in the form of trees, bushes, summer crops, or ground cover that enriches the soil organic content. It is not just about building more dams to store more water. The biggest dam on the planet is the Soil. –Sg #SaveSoil
May not be the best timing.

Florence Pugh just revealed she filmed many of her sex scenes before intimacy coordinators existed.
Florence Pugh says she remembers past sets where people made inappropriate requests and directed her in uncomfortable ways.
Florence Pugh: “There are plenty of things that I remember where it was just completely inappropriate to have asked me to do that, to have directed me in that way.”
Florence Pugh: “I've also had like a shit example where someone just made it so weird and so awkward and really wasn't helpful.”
