I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. — John 15:5

Would love to know how much time Rhule spends yelling at refs vs actually coaching. I'm not a fire the coach guy, but it's just ridiculous. Not a successful coach look. #Huskers

100% correct. Zero sympathy for the players on this. Get to the table and negotiate the floor/ceiling numbers you want. Make baseball happen and keep the fans who pay your bills and paychecks happy. We won’t hand you a Kleenex if you come crying to us.
Most people yelling at me about this haven't actually read the column. So here's a short version: For the past year, polls have shown that a clear majority of baseball fans wants want a salary cap -- sometimes as high as 79 percent. This means most fans will *not* be on the players' side during the lockout. For most, it's about competitive balance. It has nothing to do with being "pro owners" or "anti-labor." As I point out in the column, I don't feel sorry the owners at all. That would be silly. But because most fans want a cap, players will have a hard to selling themselves as the good guys when refusing a system in which the top players could still make $50 million+ while the *minimum* salary would be $1 million for most players. A fan making $22 an hour and struggling to pay bills doesn't want to hear that those amounts just aren't enough. sportandstate.com/2026/11/04…

Best Husker take from the weekend. Cut the hype and play the game.
My 83 year old mother and lifelong Husker fan just said something very profound, and we should listen. “If we keep blowing leads and playing like crap in the 4th quarter, maybe it’s time to stop all the lights, fireworks & nonsense and just focus on football going into the 4th.”

Husker Brightside! Our Defense played great for 98% of the game, AND we made a field goal! AND we don't have to worry about who our QB will be next season!! #silverlinings #blessed #turningthepage #laughingitoff

Watch the video and read the thread. This needs to end.
Ram Chhetri came to the US as a refugee, but this might be worst day of his life: It's the moment he realizes the $80k-$160k/year salary he's bilked from Medicaid for no-show work is coming to an end because @realdailywire caught the truth on camera. We conducted months of surveillance that shows why "home care aide" is now the *most common job* in states like NY, CA, MN, and PA: Because a large part of those jobs are unambiguous Medicaid fraud. Thanks to home care, Bhutanese refugees now make more money than actual PA families. The state doesn't just look the other way, but helps them get away with it. Converting federal health dollars into a universal basic income for certain communities relieves the financial burden they place on the state. The scammers easily deceive the feds' woefully broken monitoring system. You'll see Ram pull into a driveway for 2 minutes in the morning, then 2 minutes in the evening. He clocks in and out of his shift from the right place, and the GPS system doesn't notice that he goes home in between. $20 an hour doesn't sound like much, but at 77 hours a week, it's $80k–and it's easy to bill huge hours when you don't actually have to work them. And that's just for the low-level guys in this scheme.

You will never wake up in the morning and regret that you obeyed God the night before. A joyful morning begins now. Flee from sin, trust in Him.

He's right. Go vote!
Arizona's Chirst Church of the Valley and one of the largest churches in the nation just told its members to go vote! Pastor preached about the Holy Spirit this morning and said Christians need to stop sitting on sidelines.

I love that World Magazine went after Christianity Today and called it immoral for that reprehensible article about Elizabeth Elliot's sexuality. If Christianity Astray won't radically repent and be reformed, may God raze it to the ground. wng.org/opinions/when-journa…

My favorite part was after the last touchdown, and they showed a forlorn 12 year old NU fan in the stands, and the announcer says: "we know how you feel, buddy." No, you guys actually have no idea how a Nebraska fan feels. 🙄🫩
We are the most tortured fanbase in the history of sports. 33 straight Top 25 losses. A million straight 1 score losses. You could not have scripted a worse way to lose tonight. We find ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory every single game. It is the single most cursed program in the history of organized sports
