Just put Naomi to bed a few minutes ago. Now hearing her singing the Baylor fight song to herself in her room. We're on the right track.

A dozen names to monitor for the Baylor job. First FBS job in Texas to open. The last three head coaches have played for a conference title. The landscape has changed a ton, but still a big time job for the right coach. #SicEm davecampbells.com/articles/2…

I talked to former Kansas State coach Chris Klieman earlier this year about Joe Klanderman: "Joe is going to be a head coach. I don’t know when it’s going to happen; it’s got to be the right situation. But Joe is built to be a head coach and run his own program." Klanderman is now Baylor's interim head coach after Dave Aranda was fired. wacotrib.com/sports/college/…

Here comes the boom: Joe Klanderman's connection helps him reshape Baylor defense

Defensive coordinator Joe Klanderman has turned the Baylor defense into one of the best units in the country. It comes from building connections and good old-fashioned teaching.

Baylor athletic director Doug McNamee after firing head coach Dave Aranda: "Anyone who knows Dave Aranda understands what a genuine and honorable person he is and how much he deeply cares for his players, staff and this University. He is a gifted coach and a brilliant football mind whose leadership brought some of our best Baylor football memories. While this is a difficult moment, we believe a change in leadership is necessary at this time for our program. We will forever be thankful to Dave and his family for their time here at Baylor, and we wish them well." wacotrib.com/sports/college/…

Dave Aranda is a great man and one of the best people I have had the pleasure of getting to know. It didn’t work out at Baylor, but he will always have a friend, brother and supporter in me. Love ya Coach 🙏🏾

Dave Aranda gave Baylor football its single greatest season going 12-2 in 2021. But the program never capitalized on that momentum as the transfer portal hit college football, or NIL nearly soon enough. Dave Aranda is a great man and I wish him the best moving forward. #SicEm #CFB

Does this surprise anybody with this staff this season that isn’t on defense?

They never adjusted. The same guy who tipped the PATs blocks the FG. And quite honestly the Bears needed to be more aggressive to make it a shorter FG.
