Timberwolves got a POA that can guard the entire opposing roster 🤣🤣
Just watch Kuminga on this posession. Should show you all you want to know about if he’s bought into his role or not.
This is BEAUTIFUL 🤩

I understand PJ Fleck has had his ups and downs. I understand the Gophers laid an egg last week against Purdue. But if, like me, you’re 48 or younger, they’ve never beaten their three biggest rivals all at the same time in your lifetime until today. Choose joy.

It’s pretty cool that someone the caliber of Michael Grady is willing to continue to call games on the Wolves local broadcast despite his shoulder getting tapped for big time national gigs.
The work ethic is insane, and I appreciate every game Grady chooses to come back to where his play by play career took off. It may not last forever, but the gesture to continue to make it work here is incredible.
@JimPeteHoops and @Grady might be the best play by play and analyst duo in basketball. That includes the fancy national broadcasts.

Both can be true:
Luka is an exceptionally talented NBA player. Likely top 5 player.
He's also incredibly whiny and cries the entire game and most people think it's weak.

Whoever decided that interviewing NBA players DURING the flow of the game was a good idea should probably be fired, arrested, and never allowed to enjoy dessert ever again.

Jonathan Kuminga on Joan Beringer
“Joan crazy, I ain’t gonna lie he’s crazy… he wants it, he really really wants it… I watch him every day, how hard he push himself and today he was benching 110 pounds and he wanted to do 120 and we had to tell him no… on top of that he’s a good person, he’s a good kid, it means a lot. I think he inspires the rest of us”

Gut-punch for @GopherWBB: just announced Tori McKinney will miss the season after suffering an injury last week in practice.
Injuries are the worst.

HEARTWARMING: #Vikings superstar WR Justin Jefferson was blown away by young reporter Jeremiah’s incredible football knowledge and professionalism.
“Whose son is this?”
Jefferson could not believe how impressive the young reporter was.
The best 🥹❤️
🚨JUSTIN JEFFERSON IS ALREADY A FUTURE HALL OF FAMER.
The #Vikings superstar WR has put together one of the GREATEST starts to a career in #NFL HISTORY.
HIS CAREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
592 receptions
8,659 receiving yards
44 receiving touchdowns
4× Pro Bowler
2× First-Team All-Pro
2× Second-Team All-Pro
2022 NFL Offensive Player of the Year
6 CONSECUTIVE 1,000-yard seasons
NFL record for most receiving yards in first 3 seasons (4,825)
Jefferson has helped lead Minnesota to undefeated season: 5 and 0.
Polymarket currently gives Jefferson and the #Vikings a 4% chance to win Super Bowl LXI.
JUSTIN JEFFERSON IS GENERATIONAL.

Kyler Murray hit 20.82 mph on the first-down scramble in the third quarter that helped set up the Justin Jefferson touchdown throw and catch, per @NextGenStats. That’s the fastest speed any ball carrier clocked in Week 5.

MINNESOTA TAKES THE LEAD OVER MICHIGAN!
It's Darius Taylor who takes it in for @GopherFootball

Kyler Murray was missing FIVE key starters—and still made the Vikings offense look easy.
24-of-30, 229 passing yards, 51 rushing yards, a touchdown and ZERO turnovers.
He turned broken protection into first downs and gave Justin Jefferson chances to be Justin Jefferson.
“But it’s the Saints.” And? He was playing with a patched-together offense and still picked them apart.
This is EXACTLY why the Vikings brought him here. Give the man his credit.

I love this so much!!!

It's uncanny how you can interview certain prep athletes and immediately realize, they're probably going to coach some day. Because the passion and knowledge of the game is that obvious.
