Patrick Stewart's entire body of work, but as Picard in particular, is something that connects the person I am today with who I was as a kid. It collapses time for me. I still have the same awe and fascination with his performance and belief that it represents the best of us.

I've always loved these dreamy images of Eva Marie Saint in Frankenheimer's Grand Prix. a scene where her character Louise is falling in love with racing while she's falling for Yves Montand's driver Sarti. it's Louise's race - no other race in the film is shot quite like this.
