In Spain, the 13-year-old daughter of a mother was kidnapped and raped by a neighbor. The attacker was sentenced to nine years in prison. Approximately six years after serving his sentence, the attacker was released on parole and returned to the city. He encountered the mother at a bar near a bus stop. The attacker mockingly asked her: "How is your daughter?" Enraged, she bought gasoline, returned to the bar, doused the man with it, and set him on fire. The man suffered severe burns and died a few days later. Although gripped by panic, she did not flee, but instead confessed what had happened to those around her and waited for the police to arrive. She was sentenced to five years and six months in prison, but thanks to a pardon campaign and for health reasons, she was released after serving part of her sentence.

SHE SHOULD BE FIRED!! The Minnesota Court of Appeals has reversed Hennepin County Judge Sarah West and reinstated all six guilty verdicts against Abdifatah Abdulkadir Yusuf for a $7.2 million Medicaid fraud scheme. ⠀ A Hennepin County jury convicted Yusuf in August 2025 on six counts of aiding and abetting theft by swindle after a seven-day trial. Prosecutors showed that Promise Health Services submitted more than 40,000 fraudulent claims between 2019 and 2022, operated for years out of a mailbox with no physical office, and funneled over $1 million into Yusuf’s personal accounts while he and his wife spent tens of thousands on luxury clothing, furniture, and vehicles. ⠀ West threw out the unanimous jury verdicts in November 2025 before sentencing. She ruled that the largely circumstantial evidence failed to eliminate a reasonable possibility that Yusuf’s brother Mohamed had run the fraud without his knowledge or help. ⠀ On October 26 2026 a unanimous three-judge appeals panel reversed her. The court held that the evidence did not support any reasonable alternative explanation and that Yusuf knew of and intentionally aided the fraud. ⠀ The case returns to district court for sentencing, where aggravating factors found by the jury remain in play. West was appointed by Democratic Governor Mark Dayton in 2018. ⠀ Her decision to nullify a jury’s finding of guilt in a multi-million-dollar fraud case against a Medicaid provider, only to be unanimously overturned months later, raises questions about whether the ruling reflected the evidence or a preference for a different outcome. ⠀ #Minnesota #MedicaidFraud

I like that the democrats and their voters’ closing arguments heading into the midterms is “yeah so we’re jailing and/or putting a bullet in your head when we retake power”. So that’s neat. Great stuff.

Glenna did an unusual thing that people typically don't do: she checked a citation in a law review article to see whether the citation said what the authors claimed it did. She found that the citation said the opposite of what the authors claimed it did. She then asked the editor of the law review for a correction. The editor did not reply to the request. She then asked the authors for comment on the incorrect citation. The authors acknowledged that the citation was erroneous and regretted the error. The authors then insisted that the citation did not matter to their actual argument because nothing in their argument depended on the citation being right. Glenna then wrote a post explaining why the erroneous citation was in fact important to their actual argument, and why the erroneous citation also exposed a wider ignorance of the subject on which the authors were writing. (She claims, convincingly, that it's important to know what sex is in order to understand what sex discrimination is, and that being able to define what sex is is an inextricable aspect of knowing what sex is.) I consulted with some lawyer friends in a chat group who helpfully explained to me that no one ever reads footnotes, no one checks the underlying references, and no one cares if they are correct or not because law review articles like the one Murray and Shaw published are merely political advocacy masquerading as legal scholarship that no one reads, and therefore not to expect the Supreme Court Review to issue a correction for a citation that the authors are on the record admitting was erroneous. Do I have all that right, @williambaude?

Members of the Chicago Teachers Union suggest that “the United States government must fall,” adding that all who agree must be “willing to kill and to be killed.” This is reminiscent of the scene in the movie *I Am Legend* in which the zombies stop fearing the sunlight.
Exclusive. I just infiltrated and recorded a call hosted by the Chicago Teachers Union in the United States with leftist students activists and the teachers helping them in France. The teachers in the USA are actively coordinating with the unions in France. And they're calling explicitly for the fall of the United States government. This is the full, unedited recording of the call, so no one can accuse me of taking things out of context. I will release clips separately. These are the things @RealAlexJones will never show you, because they didn't mention working with Muslims (they actually made fun of that idea a few times). The truth matters. Here are the primary source receipts.

June 6, 1944. An American paratrooper jumps into Normandy in the dark and lands on the roof of a church. By the end of the war he had been declared dead, held a funeral he didn't attend, escaped the Nazis, and fought his way toward Berlin in a Soviet tank unit. His name was Joseph Beyrle. He's believed to be the only American soldier to serve in both the US Army and the Red Army during World War Two. Beyrle was from Muskegon, Michigan. He joined the 101st Airborne, the Screaming Eagles. His buddies called him Jumpin' Joe. On D-Day night his plane was hit by flak and he jumped early. He came down on a church roof, slid off, and lost his unit in the chaos. For a few days he fought on his own, blowing up a power station and cutting German communications. Then he was captured. Here's where it gets strange. A German soldier ended up wearing Beyrle's uniform and dog tags. That German was killed. When the body was found, the Americans identified it as Joseph Beyrle. The army told his parents their son was dead. His hometown held a funeral mass for him. His obituary ran in the local paper. Meanwhile, he was very much alive, being moved from one German prison camp to another. He escaped more than once. One time he and two other prisoners jumped off a train heading east. They thought they were heading for Russia and freedom. They got lost and ended up in Berlin, where they were caught by the Gestapo, beaten, and tortured. In January 1945, from a camp in eastern Germany, he finally made a clean escape. He went east, toward the gunfire. Toward the Soviets. When he found a Soviet tank unit, he walked out with his hands up, holding a pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes, and shouted the only Russian he knew. American comrade. It worked. He asked to join them. And they said yes. For about a month, an American paratrooper rode with Soviet tank crews as they pushed toward Germany. He used his demolition training. He fought. He was reportedly welcomed by a Soviet officer who was one of the rare women commanding a tank battalion. Then a German dive bomber attacked. Beyrle was badly wounded. He was evacuated to a Soviet hospital. Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov reportedly visited, heard his story, and gave him papers to get to the American embassy in Moscow. When he showed up, the embassy didn't believe him. As far as the US was concerned, Joseph Beyrle was dead. They held him under guard until his fingerprints proved who he was. He made it home to Michigan in April 1945. In 1946 he got married. In the same church where they'd held his funeral. Decades later, in 1994, he was honored at the White House by President Bill Clinton and Russian President Boris Yeltsin for serving both countries. And the last twist. His son, Joseph Beyrle II, grew up to become the United States Ambassador to Russia.

> be a high-flying MIT scientist > discover mTOR > expected to win a Nobel Prize some day > have consensual relationship with younger female biology MIT professor > she accuses him of sexual harassment, coercion and grooming after he declines a long term relationship with her > MIT launches investigation > MIT lets the accuser’s allies help pick the judges and threaten the president if he wasn’t destroyed > lo and behold, investigation finds he violated MIT’s sexual relationship and anti-harassment policies > he gets fired and resigns under threat of termination > loses his lab > he sues her for defamation > jury awards him $6 million in defamation case and rejects her claims that she was coerced in any way How did 13 members of a civilian jury come to a different conclusion than @MIT? Answer: MIT’s investigation was not exactly independent thanks to coordinated female faculty collusion. It was a kangaroo court and the verdict was pre-determined
🚨 BOMBSHELL COURT EVIDENCE EXPOSES INSIDER INFLUENCE OVER MIT'S TENURE-REVIEW PROCESS IN THE DAVID M. SABATINI ORDEAL. 🔱 NEW REVELATION — Court evidence exposes MIT Professor Sangeeta Bhatia's involvement in the selection of Sabatini's tenure-review committee On 27 September 2021, Kristin Knouse exchanged messages with Izabella Pena following a conversation with @MIT Professor Sangeeta Bhatia. The court-disclosed messages reveal Kristin Knouse telling Izabella Pena: 🔴 “Sangeeta just called” 🔴 “they even asked for insight into who to put on the committee” 🔴 “AND she said she will go to Rafael Reif’s office and protest the decision if and when needed.” Pena responded: “At least they are asking her insight” Knouse replied: “Exactly” “This is good” ⚠️ The evidence exposes a troubling channel of insider influence surrounding MIT's tenure-review process. These contemporaneous communications document that Knouse understood Bhatia to have been consulted about the committee's composition and to be prepared to challenge its eventual decision directly with MIT President Rafael Reif. Rather than an independent review insulated from interested parties, the messages reveal access to the committee-selection process by an academic aligned with the complainant, raising serious concerns about institutional impartiality and conflicts of interest. This disclosure adds another significant piece to the growing documentary record surrounding the institutional handling of Professor @DMSabatini's case. 📑 REVIEW THW ORIGINAL COURT EVIDENCE BELOW. 🔱 ScienceGuardians™ Legal and Investigative Team MORE COURT EVIDENCE. This reminds me of some of the medievally horrific stories I heard from the staff of the India Gandhi Children’s Hospital in Kabul about both maternal care and pediatric burn care. I was silly enough to ask what all the NGOs raising money to help the AFG people were doing to help address this. Stares and shrugs. Tens of billions of dollars were spent in the first decade alone, with hundreds of NGOs hanging a shingle. A lot of money was made by NGO staff and leadership in Europe and North America. A lot of money was spread around in marketing and security…and yet, almost a decade after Camp Rhino, 18year old girls on foot or if lucky with a donkey, still spent days on the road to get their 2 year old child with 30% of their bodies covered with burns to medical care. All that money, like pouring water into the sand. As always, follow the money.
Across the rich world, nearly a quarter of all development aid now goes to climate projects. The core problem is opportunity cost. Every dollar subsidizing solar panels or carbon accounting is a dollar not spent on schools, maternal health or clean water. financialpost.com/opinion/op…

Cenk Uygur put together an obviously antisemitic ad for Abdul El-Sayed trying to blame Israel and its Jewish supporters for higher grocery prices. It might as well be translated to German and have a Weimar Republic stamp. But no one should care about Cenk. He’s a fat loser who screams nonsense and doesn’t matter. What does matter is that Abdul El-Sayed agrees with him. This is his message. He wants to raise your taxes, increase costs for businesses, and then scapegoat Israel and its Jewish supporters for inevitable consequences of his shitty left-wing policies. All while prioritizing supporting anti-American extremists abroad over the actual interests of Michigan voters.

Today begins our countdown towards the release of the Chaos and Consequences anthology! And our first story in the anthology is a fantastic piece by author @melissaolthoff! Bio: Melissa writes science fiction and fantasy adventure romance with plenty of banter and heart. She is a lifelong geek as well as a veteran of the United States Air Force, both of which are incredibly useful when writing. Her degrees in meteorology and accounting are slightly less applicable to writing, but absolutely useful when it comes to supporting her family. She has written in both shared worlds and her own universes, and through the power of caffeine and friendship, manages to juggle chaos on and off the page. Published by Baen Books, she is best known for her Griffin Corps series and Bronze Legion novels. Her story, 'More Than Survival,' can be previewed below: *** The world was ending. Captain Jace Benning had spent years fighting for his country, but he couldn’t stop the end of the world any more than he could stop the sun from rising. All he could do was try to survive the shattering. Jace put one foot in front of the other and swept his gaze across the ragtag band of survivors he’d gathered during his insane trek across the Sonoran Desert. Grim resolve flowed through his exhausted soul. As tired as he was, there was never any question as to whether he would keep going. Long past the point where the first bombs had fallen on American soil, long past the point where he lost contact with his chain of command. He would keep going, because if he couldn’t save his country, he could save his soldiers. They were his responsibility now, even if they hadn’t started out that way. *** You can get your ebook copy next Tuesday everywhere ebooks are sold, and your print copy Nov 10. simonandschuster.com/books/C…

AOC just said she supports trans rights because she's a "girls girl." She explains the way for women to achieve bodily autonomy is to let mentally ill men watch them get undressed in the locker room. The feminist movement has become a joke.
