When a female elephant spots a baby hippo wandering away from its herd and happily toddling toward the lake, she immediately takes notice. Knowing that crocodiles are lurking beneath the water, she quickly tries to stop the little one and guide it back to the safety of its herd.
When she finally meets the hippo's mother, the elephant seems to be saying, “Please keep a closer eye on your little one, ma’am!” 😔
These days I have issues with words like profits, development, growth, productivity, utilising resources, etc. It sounds great, but in searching for that 'exponential growth' or progress, we seem to be moving further away from a better future for all.
