For a kid playing high school football when this came out, this was peak cinema! We all had one “Lattimer” on the team….

The takeaway from this game should be that the gap between Iowa and Iowa State as football programs has never been smaller. Iowa State proved that it can compete with anyone on the schedule,

Let's clarify some things, 20 hours later: - I'm not saying to just jump ship and leave the Big 12. When the media rights deals are open for business, Tech should put feelers out to bigger conferences (SEC/B10) and legitimately pursue that angle. - I still don't think Yormark came off looking strong yesterday. He literally tried to bully someone into not asking a question (or it appeared that way). - I'm excited for this season, let's spot the ball!

S/O to the Tech Media members in attendance at Big 12 Media Day today. Asked some elite questions and in my opinion, Brett Yormark made it clear why Texas Tech needs to leave the Big 12 at the first opportune moment.
